WP, are you going to school? And yea, your babies are having nothing to do with inductions! I am personally not a fan of being induced, as everyone I know who has been induced had a c-section. I do not think some doctors do it properly. They pump you full of pitocin, then you are writhing in pain from it as it causes unnatural contractions to come on, then you get the epi and are flat on your back for the rest of it and I think that is partly what has caused our nation's ridiculous c-section rate.
(2002) (2005) from 1st marriage. TTC since Aug 2010- Dx: low sperm count and 1% normal sperm. We are giving up and moving on with a baby-free life.
UPDATE: surprise bfp in Feb 2013! It's a BOY!

    NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!

I you too, DM!!!! That is so sweet of you to say....I have thought about it many times. I actually have been thinking of even going to med school to become a ob-gyner and making it my mission to shake this bullshit obstetric world onto its head. I know a couple of them here who would join me if I did, including my awesome doc who quit ob because of ridic insurance, etc. We'll see.....just depends on how DH's career transition in the next couple of years goes, and if I can make and have a baby and get through the toddler years first!

Begonia: If we didn't know better we would think you had a house full of boys over there, with the batman, wall-e, and scooby I have been thinking about dropping the potassium, but it is one of the cheaper ones.

Lola: I think your right on with wanting to loss weight. It will make TTCing easier if your happy and healthy. Not going to school....homeschooling 4 children.

    DM:We all LOVE Lola!!!

Inductions stunk for me . I hated them, but the practice would not let me go more than a week or two over due. My last 2 labors and deliveries were the best...hands down. no pitocin, no iv, no pain meds, and no post partum pain meds. The conx were so bad with the pit that I needed the pain meds before and after delivery. The experiences are like night and day.

    Back to the chalkboard.......
    thank you GD

See now I will say, I was induced with my 1st, and it was AMAZING. I had a great experience with it. I was induced with the pitocin and then had an epidural at around 5 cm, "labored" 5 hours (I mean really, with an epidural it is NOT labor, LOL!) and pushed her out with no problem. It was really great and for many reasons it was 100% the right choice for me at that time in my life and I don't regret it at all.

But I will say I didn't want to be induced with my second just because while, like I said, I had a great previous experience, I know that isn't always the case and prefer to avoid the risks. Plus DD2 started labor just hours after her due date so was perfectly timed And this time I WILL do it (i think i can, i think i can) with no epidural since I got so close last time. I can't wait, actually, because I know I'll feel so proud of myself

I do have a huge problem with elective c-sections. That's all I will say about that because I'm not going to get on a soapbox.

Lola that is super cool that DH is going to go to school; when will he start? You would be an awesome OB/GYN. No doubt very in tune to your patients after all you've been through with this ttc business. I hadn't thought about the weight impacting ttc but you could be on to something. You plateaued though right, and aren't gaining anymore?

WP are you in school? I thought you meant class for your kids? The tomboy thing with my girls cracks me up; it's kind of like I have one of each already bc DD1 hasn't worn a dress since she was 18 months old and could express an opinion. She has ALWAYS chosen "boys" toys like legos, cars, superheros, etc. DD2 is a mix, she loooooves sparkly things and pink clothes, but has no interest in dolls or babies ... she definitely likes to play with cars and legos too. We got her a dollhouse for her 2nd birthday because I wanted her to have the option but she hasn't touched it in 3 months. Anyhow if we have a son we're all set in the toy department!

Oh and WP I second Lola's rec on the EPO! I really liked it. It definitely upped my EWCM but the best part for me was it made my PMS cramps disappear. I never had PMS or spotting before AF until I swayed boy ... I know for sure something about the diet definitely impacted my cycle. I will be curious to see how things play out after this baby is born.

    LOLA?

I normally have a 14 day LP, but had 15-16 this cycle

Is B6 good for TTC a boy? I have been thinking about adding some B vitamins...maybe b12? Not sure, I need to find time to research it.
    I would take b12

I'll miss seeing the baby though. I'm doing OK, tired every couple days for so where I need to spend some time in bed (crash days) and nausea is OK. I went to the chiropractor and acupuncture this week and need to wait till pay day to get all the crazy expensive supps I plan on taking. Will be seeing the chiropractor every 2 weeks or so at a$10 co-pay so not too bad. Other than that, feeling a little less psychotic this week but only had to work Monday so that was a great surprise. I did fill it up instead of desperatly needeed cleaning to play at the bordwalk and beach w/ my gf and our kids. Cleaned MIL's today and exhausted but need to jump up to shower and get kids in bed to hit the 8:15 showing of Harry Potter.

How about you? THanks for thinking about me. I'm too tired to log in most nights now.
I'm so glad you saw the heartbeat! What a beautiful sight.

The thing is I was painting the new room for DD2 and 3 . Pink and red...DD3 picked it. We always picked the colors before so now they are happy . The room is nice looks like a candy store lol. But, it made me so sad because I was thinking I always paint a girly room and will never paint a room for a boy...This made me write the sad post.I thought people here understand it...anyway I came back to post but then I read about the cow and what if it's a boy and it made me more sad for it.(sorry WP hope it's a girl!)
Anyway couple weeks ago I went to help paint this other house and they picked a color for the master bedroom ...while I was painting the room I had this dream in my head about my boy room! I love that color so much they picked ,even the name of it !
Before this I never had an idea how I would decorate a baby boy room , had no vision , no clue , ect. Even when ttc DC4. But now I do I know exactly what I would do!
(don't want to jinx it so I don't say what kind of room lol)And maybe just maybe I can have a boy and make my dream room for him. And why Im thinking this? Because I checked my pH today and it was 7!!! How this happened I don't know but Im so happy . It just shows me that something is going good , even is pH not so important for everyone it gives me hope that if I do thing good and see change maybe I can have a boy too!
I'm so glad you're feeling better!!

Ok I read about 6 pages I think and IDK if I can respond to all so I'll just start fresh here teehee. I'm about to go on amazon and order up more supps. I have to really kick it into gear now as we're approaching the 6 week mark pre attempt! I think I've put on a couple of lbs. Probably water weight or something but I know I'm eating a lot more. Working out has been a God send. I haven't been away from both girls for more than maybe 5 hours in the whole 15 months that Lili has been here. Now it's 2 hours every week just for me. I didn't realize how badly I needed that.

Wow you girls have been busy!! lol

Update on DH: no hernia but pretty sure it was/is a kidney stone. He had some blood in his urine last night so we think it may have passed. He is feeling a bit better! Yay! He said he might even be in the mood to dtd in the morning! lol I think I plan on dtd every other day until +opk. Trying to do morning bd sessions this time.

Lola-I hear ya on lightly swaying. I told DH if this isn't our magic cycle then I'm not doing the diet anymore. I'll still do supps to help my cm and maybe keep up the lemon water. I am fat too. I've gained 10-15lbs since April when I started this diet. I also think the diet/weight is stressing me out which could contribute to the bfn. My mom told me a couple weeks ago that I look 6 months pregnant! Gee thanks mom!!
