Has anyone else had their temps go down when swaying?
I was thinking they may go up or stay the same since up = girl... But they are in the 96s now and I have never had them that low before...
Also, O seems to be delayed. I've only been on the diet for 2 weeks, but being very strict about it until this first attempt and I will add a few calories etc if we get a bfn.
Took V & SP for the first part of my cycle, on cd 15 (which is the latest I have EVER O'd) and still no +opk...
And these crazy low temps.
And weird cm that I've never had either.
Obviously something is off. Which maybe is good.
Has anyone else found that their temps went down instead of up, and most importantly, has anyone conceived a girl when hat happened?

Bbt way down

V raises my temps overall, mostly in the LP but a little bit before O, too. Both V and the diet can change your CM, usually by drying it up/reducing it/turning it creamy, and both can delay O as well. Since SP can affect hormones as well, it could also be to blame.
Could your temps be lower due to it being the coldest time of year? I know it's very cold where I am recently, colder than it has been all Winter.
With a pink sway, generally any change is good. Drying up CM and moving around O seems to be part of how pink sways work, so I would consider those good things. Provided you do actually O. My first cycle taking V, O was delayed until CD28. That's usually when I get AF! It was my longest non-pregnant cycle ever. Some women don't O until they stop taking V, but since you stopped taking it I bet you'll O in a week or less. And maybe your low temps are partly in response to you stopping the V?
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I live in Phoenix and it has been in the 70s this week! So it's not that
Maybe it is in response to stopping the V... They do seem to have gotten even lower the past few days.. Although they were lower than my normal even on the V...
Does it not bode well for a pink sway if my temps are dropping?

There is some speculation from IG that higher = pink but I have seen no reliable info to support that and there is literally a kajillion reasons why someone's temps might go up or down. Since yours are only just dropping now I suspect the herbs. 2 weeks on diet is not enough to do anything, although if you're being unusually strict maybe you've lost a lot of weight???
DO NOT start off on diet super duper strict - 1500-1800 calories please.
V and SP can delay O, are you still taking them?!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I'm not taking them anymore. Stopped on cd12. Still no sign of O. And the weirdest cm ever. It's like string! Sorry. That's gross.
I'm really little so 1500-1800 is not really going to make me lose weight, especially if I am not exercising, so I have started it off super strict, just because I was going to have my first attempt this month and wanted SOMETHING to be different to give a sway a real chance, but absolutely plan to ease up and take more calories after O and continue in that fashion if I don't get a bfp this month...

I haven't lost a ton of weight though. Just a few lbs...
Hopefully enough to sway on the off chance I do O, I do catch it with opks, and I do get a bfp

how strict is super strict, though?? I do allow people who are super petite to go down to 1200-1500 but please please please do not drop below that. Very important because you will end up stopping ovulation and possibly lowering your odds of a healthy pregnancy. This is not upposed to be a starvation diet!

I've been around 1200 the last 2 weeks. Just to get this jump started and will go up a bit if I do it longer term. I am not starving myself! I promise. I am just really small and wanted to make some sort of a change for this month...
Fingers crossed that I ovulate soon and didn't miss it.

I have read your other threads, I think O is just delayed so I'd keep OPKing until you see a proper surge. Though honestly, I'd never recommend TTC after so little time on the diet, if you really want a girl.

We'll see! I think I may have missed it so it may be next month anyway. Which will be 6+ weeks on the diet. A much better sway I believe. We just can't TTC the month after next and my DH is really not wanting a huge space between our kids, so he wants to do it now or never :/.
I don't want never!
