Trying for 1 attempt, think I missed O

Someone tell me about every 4 days and if that is really a good plan?

I never got a truly positive opk, so we never made our 1 attempt since I was so set on having that for our first cycle.

I believe I may have O'd now within the last couple of days and missed it. I'm SO sad.

And I was testing with opks 3x a day since cd8... So I don't know what happened.
I wonder if my opks just don't show positive or something so every 4 days

Ugh. A whole cycle down the drain. I'm depressed. Especially because it was supposed to be the first and I was so excited.

Every 4 days puts you in with one attempt within the fertile window. It is the very low stress method, no obsessing over OPKs. No Martha-sessing.

If you prefer to stay with the OPKs (and I never got +OPKs until I started following this advice) - test twice a day, once around 2:00 pm then again around 8:00 pm. Hold your wee for 4 hours before testing, and no liquids for the second 2 hours. GL!

I will try that. I have a bladder the size of a walnut though. I can't imagine being able to hold it that long....

Otherwise, if I did truly miss it, I think I may just go for every 4 days next cycle, because I am starting to feel pretty Martha-y....

OPK aren't that great, it's just all we have.

We are getting pretty good success with every 4 day and it does cut down on the "swaycession" aspect which may help.
