WP, are you going to school? And yea, your babies are having nothing to do with inductions! I am personally not a fan of being induced, as everyone I know who has been induced had a c-section. I do not think some doctors do it properly. They pump you full of pitocin, then you are writhing in pain from it as it causes unnatural contractions to come on, then you get the epi and are flat on your back for the rest of it and I think that is partly what has caused our nation's ridiculous c-section rate.

I
you too, DM!!!! That is so sweet of you to say....I have thought about it many times. I actually have been thinking of even going to med school to become a ob-gyner and making it my mission to shake this bullshit obstetric world onto its head. I know a couple of them here who would join me if I did, including my awesome doc who quit ob because of ridic insurance, etc. We'll see.....just depends on how DH's career transition in the next couple of years goes, and if I can make and have a baby and get through the toddler years first!

Begonia: If we didn't know better we would think you had a house full of boys over there, with the batman, wall-e, and scooby
I have been thinking about dropping the potassium, but it is one of the cheaper ones.
Lola: I think your right on with wanting to loss weight. It will make TTCing easier if your happy and healthy. Not going to school....homeschooling 4 children.
DM:We all LOVE Lola!!!
Inductions stunk for me . I hated them, but the practice would not let me go more than a week or two over due. My last 2 labors and deliveries were the best...hands down. no pitocin, no iv, no pain meds, and no post partum pain meds. The conx were so bad with the pit that I needed the pain meds before and after delivery. The experiences are like night and day.
Back to the chalkboard.......thank you GD

See now I will say, I was induced with my 1st, and it was AMAZING. I had a great experience with it. I was induced with the pitocin and then had an epidural at around 5 cm, "labored" 5 hours (I mean really, with an epidural it is NOT labor, LOL!) and pushed her out with no problem. It was really great and for many reasons it was 100% the right choice for me at that time in my life and I don't regret it at all.
But I will say I didn't want to be induced with my second just because while, like I said, I had a great previous experience, I know that isn't always the case and prefer to avoid the risks. Plus DD2 started labor just hours after her due date so was perfectly timedAnd this time I WILL do it (i think i can, i think i can) with no epidural since I got so close last time. I can't wait, actually, because I know I'll feel so proud of myself
I do have a huge problem with elective c-sections. That's all I will say about that because I'm not going to get on a soapbox.
Lola that is super cool that DH is going to go to school; when will he start? You would be an awesome OB/GYN. No doubt very in tune to your patients after all you've been through with this ttc business. I hadn't thought about the weight impacting ttc but you could be on to something. You plateaued though right, and aren't gaining anymore?
WP are you in school? I thought you meant class for your kids? The tomboy thing with my girls cracks me up; it's kind of like I have one of each already bc DD1 hasn't worn a dress since she was 18 months old and could express an opinion. She has ALWAYS chosen "boys" toys like legos, cars, superheros, etc. DD2 is a mix, she loooooves sparkly things and pink clothes, but has no interest in dolls or babies ... she definitely likes to play with cars and legos too. We got her a dollhouse for her 2nd birthday because I wanted her to have the option but she hasn't touched it in 3 months. Anyhow if we have a son we're all set in the toy department!

Oh and WP I second Lola's rec on the EPO! I really liked it. It definitely upped my EWCM but the best part for me was it made my PMS cramps disappear. I never had PMS or spotting before AF until I swayed boy ... I know for sure something about the diet definitely impacted my cycle. I will be curious to see how things play out after this baby is born.

I'm so glad you saw the heartbeat! What a beautiful sight.
I'm so glad you're feeling better!!
Ok I read about 6 pages I think and IDK if I can respond to all so I'll just start fresh here teehee. I'm about to go on amazon and order up more supps. I have to really kick it into gear now as we're approaching the 6 week mark pre attempt! I think I've put on a couple of lbs. Probably water weight or something but I know I'm eating a lot more. Working out has been a God send. I haven't been away from both girls for more than maybe 5 hours in the whole 15 months that Lili has been here. Now it's 2 hours every week just for me. I didn't realize how badly I needed that.Heather

Wow you girls have been busy!! lol
Update on DH: no hernia but pretty sure it was/is a kidney stone. He had some blood in his urine last night so we think it may have passed. He is feeling a bit better! Yay! He said he might even be in the mood to dtd in the morning! lol I think I plan on dtd every other day until +opk. Trying to do morning bd sessions this time.
Lola-I hear ya on lightly swaying. I told DH if this isn't our magic cycle then I'm not doing the diet anymore. I'll still do supps to help my cm and maybe keep up the lemon water. I am fat too. I've gained 10-15lbs since April when I started this diet. I also think the diet/weight is stressing me out which could contribute to the bfn. My mom told me a couple weeks ago that I look 6 months pregnant! Gee thanks mom!!2006
