I'm not brave enough to try prog cream , I thought to try with B6 first. Do you think 50 mg would be enough or should I take recommended 100mg maybe in 2 doses of 50 mg (morning and evening)?

When I was pg with DD1, my gyn gave me Utrogestan during 1st trimester. When pg with DD2 I had menace of m/c in week 10 ( I though it was a m/c, profuse bleeding and felt exactly the same like m/c in 2001, but u/s showed HB my brave baby girl decided to stay!) so I was in hospital for a week on progesterone injections and after that was given Utrogestan for the rest week of 1st trimester.

So my experiences with Utrogestan are excellent and I though maybe to try it after O instead of prog cream? What do you think? Here is the link about it http://www.besins-healthcare.com/Pub...D=140&page=175 I can buy it in pharmacy without prescription.
I would take 50 in the morning and 50 in the evening. I happened to take 100 all at once but that was just because I accidentally bought 100 mg tablets and I was too cheap to toss them.

Doula is prob. right about the Utrogestan but then again, it's 99% for sure what your doc is just going to give you anyway if you are bleeding 3DPO. And it's much better to get it that way than via the over-the-counter progesterone creams because those may not be a standardized dosage. Personally, I would try it! Just remember, if you get pregnant while using it, you have to use it throughout the first trimester every day and not miss a day.

I would try b6 100mg (50mg in morning and 50 at night) but if it doesn't seem to work then I would go for the utrogestan only because you said you had before, so I would do the exact same thing that your dr prescribed the first time, now if it was something you never had then I would say no way you don't know what your doing kwim? But I would try the b6 first and then the utrogestan and just do the same thing your doc prescribed with dd1 now that's what *I* personally would do

Doula, you are absolutely right, but it will take at least 1 month ( schedule appointment at gyn, order analyzes, wait for the results...) + I would have to pay for it. I'm too old and too impatient to wait I want my baby ASAP!

Hope B6 will give some results quickly, plus both you and Atomic conceived your boys while on it which means it must be great stuff!

Zivic, Just curious how the B6 worked???
i have a LP of 11 days which is borderline but i have long cycles...i O only after cd23 and as late as cd40. I heard that too much estrogen can delay O and also estrogen build up reduces progesterone production.
B6 can help and so i am planning to take it. was concerned abt it being girl supp. But seems that it should be OK now.

I'm afraid B6 didn't help I've tried it back on IG for 1 cycle and it didn't help then either. Maybe it should be taken during longer period of time?
B6 scares me a bit bcoz you have to wean off of slowly so it's sort of serious vitamin lol!

Yes, you need to take it for longer than a cycle!

ALL vitamins and minerals should be weaned off of slowly. Not just B6. B6 is no more dangerous than a lot of other vitamins (and in fact is prob. safer than some because it's water soluble and you just pee out anything you don't use.)
