So I am trying to get started on my sway & still breastfeeding my 6month old. Atomic I know you have said about giving DH extra vitamins in case the fiber I am taking blocks some of the nutrients form me but my ped is very against me giving him vitamins even when I told her why I want to do it. She says he is good & I am going to over load him with too much of certain nutrients. She has given me a DHA sup to put him on. So what do you think? Do vitamins for him anyway?? He does nurse take a bottle of formula & he's eating solids so do you think its ok just to skip his vitamins?? I really want to get started on the fiber but I don't want to short him anything.
Also should I think about stopping my vitamins soon?? Hoping for a 1st attempt in May so part of me REALLY wants to stop taking them but than the other part of me doesn't want to chance shorting DS anything he needs. Thank you!!!

I would stop your vitamins now so you have your full 12 weeks without them. (That's how I got both my boys was by starting my vitamins 2 months before I started ttc) Also for ds I would say he should be fine without. If he is on formula and solid foods he will be getting enough! If he was only nursing then I would be more worried! Maybe someone else will give you more advice but that's what I would do!
good luck

If you can't give him extra vitamins (and honestly I am with the pediatrician, not a fan of giving BF babies vitamins) then wait to start the fiber. We can't be having 6 month old babies with mamas on fiber. Just can't do it. Even if I am being ridiculously conservative I don't want anyone to take even the remotest chance with a baby's health and wellbeing.
I am ok with you stopping vitamins, but that's another reason not to do the fiber.Wean off gradually both for your sake and his.

Agree with atomic, no fiber but drop vitamins. 6mo is just too young IMO for mama on fiber. At a year, I'd say you could do fiber lightly.
Keep in mind, it's possible nursing more ie while bub is younger may sway more pink than nursing an older baby less, so you might not even need the fiber.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Great point, Maiden!! and leaving the fiber out may make your cycles return sooner than they would otherwise.
