And I also spend a FORTUNE on supps....that's why I can't afford any new fat clothes, LOL! Probably a good $150 a month. Some of my antioxidant ones are not cheap!!! So, are you trying in September, right? The cycle after this one?
Yes next month but Im soooo sooooo scared to do it! Im really just petrified!!! If I get a bfp then because of that . I will think for sure I know I think it's a girl. And if no bfp( most likely not , right?) then Im will be scared to try again and more sups, more diet ect.
I wanted Oct. but tired of it all and DH want's to try next month.( he is also taking millions sups poor thing)

I want to just eat more fruit/veggies but if I don't eat other things Im hungry still! And because atomic said we can't feel hungry or our BS is not even I eat more things...
I already think I screw this up for sure because I still feel hungry and still can't do the 30 min. breakfast every day!

TTC5- I'm taking EPO, fish oil, B6, B12, folic acid and prenatals. No bsf, we've been using Preseed.

Begonia-I'm not sure how I feel about my attempt. We dtd 3 days in a row to cover the most fertile times. I'm very disappointed in my cm!! The best I got was milky thin cm the 2 days before O. On O day it was creamy! Ugh!

Daisy-haven't tried flaxseed yet. Just EPO and fish oil. Can the bsd dry up cm? Hmm...hadn't thought of that. I'm taking in plenty if water though. Idk.

I tried the green tea this time. 1 cup per day. Yuck! I just think that knowing my luck, once I get off the diet, I'll get ewcm and get pregnant lol. I'm pretty sure this is it for me with the diet. I can't take anymore and DH is tired of spending the money for all the extras. Of course I'll still try to eat healthy foods.

I just hope this is my month! We actually dtd on O day this time lol. Hadn't been able to do that before for some reason or another. Y'all keep your fingers crossed for me!! 1dpo today!!! Long 2ww ahead!!

Welcome to all the newbies!!! Good luck!!

    Wow, busy ladies...

Alexis: Congrats on the 2WW, hopfully you will be the start to a huge string of BFP!!!

Lola: Kind of odd that we all hit the wall at the same time with the diet/weight gain. I hear you on the new clothes. Hubby said the same thing...."With all the money we save on expensive food and supp, you can get some new mat. clothes." Something to look forward to I guess. Were you in tears on their first day of school? I know I would be.

Flava:I feel the same way. I upped my veges at lunch and now 20 minutes later....starving!!! I have got to tweak this before my O date.

    DD4 is stinky....gotta run.
    thank you GD

So Keith has really been doing his part on his diet and eating his "hearty" foods. I am really impressed with his dedication to this. If i don't make his lunch for work he will come home and report to me what he ate. It's too funny. And I have been cooking him some awesome meals. Lots of steak and tri tips! Need more potatoes though! Anyway, It got me thinking, After talking with a friend lightly about this since we aren't telling anyone our plan. Do you think its more important the Man eats hearty or the woman or both? Because as the story goes, they say the man chooses the sex, and if we the woman just make the "environment" the correct PH we should be good to go? as my friend put it. So what are your thoughts? Obviously I am still doing my part but it did make some sense to me. But if some husbands arent on board with the diet then it would make sense why this wouldn't work...yes?...babble babble.

    anyhooooooo................IM GETTTINGGGGGGG sooooooooooooooooooooooooo closse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey ladies, after going back 12+ pages I decided screw it I'm not catching up I'm just jumping back in lol.

Welcome to the newbies! You will love it here, best ladies around!

Daisy- I hear ya on the sore, I have always been a lube using girl so just working with just what I was producing, even though a ton, left me a bit sore after each round of attempts.

Alexis- try a little lemon and honey in the green tea, it's yummy! Woohoo for 2ww, fx!

Flava- can't believe you attempt is so close!!

Tink- the diet is important for you both but more for you. Yes he needs to supply healthy sperm but you need to provide an environment where the male fetus has a chance of survival, remember nutrient rich feast = boy, famine = girl. Many women with a naturally low pH have boys, Atomic's diet got her a boy even in prime girl range, it's not the major thing to concern yourself with.

Im4blue- love your shopping trip, simply perfect!

Well ladies, dd3 had her Pinkalicious party and we made the big announcement. For those not familiar with Pinkalicious it's a really cute book about a girl who eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink, she has no choice but to eat a bunch of green foods to turn normal again. We served pink/red foods and everything in the treat bags was green. Dd3 said it was the best party ever, love that kid! Anyway the big announcement, as people were arriving I definitely got some funny looks as I haven't seen them in a month and am definitely extra round in the midsection. As soon as everyone arrived dh announced it and his mom was really weird. Sitting right next to my bil and his pregnant gf (no one is happy about this) kept saying this is so wonderful, I'm so excited, etc. My BFF thought she saw the gf crying, wish I could say I felt bad but I don't. She's a lazy, awful person and a horrible mother we all wish they'd never had their first dc let alone have any more. Dh's other brother and his wife and dh's dad said nothing. Their lives are falling apart while we are blissfully happy, they can't be happy unless they think they are doing better then us. My fam and friends are thrilled so we really couldn't care less. We refuse to let their drama affect our happiness, especially since all the stuff they've given us crap about over the years is now biting them in the ass. We don't waste money, my inlaws are about to lose their house and my bil and sil are paying the bills thanks to her parents. They treat dh like a second class citizen for his office job (he's a high ranking manager) while they work construction. The recession has torpedoed the housing market so while they are struggling to work dh just got a raise and the executive bonus. Bil and his wife give me crap for being no fun and too hard on our kids while they have no rules and give them everything. My kids excel in school, are grateful and polite. Their kids are rude, demanding and barely on level at school. Etc, etc, etc. Oh and for every lb I've gained sil has gained 2 so she's still way fatter then me, evil I know but it makes me happy

Try not to be afraid, just have a positive attitude, I swear it will help with the testosterone, Flava. I feel the same way when I get hungry....the littlest grumble in my belly and I fear I must stuff my tomato hole with food or I'll make a girl, LOL.

Daisy, I am so ready to be done with pregnancy and get back on my meds, too.....and back into bathing suits, which I have completely foresaken at this point. I wonder what affected your cm.....that is interesting. The bsf usually makes it way watery, but honestly, it's not worth doing much unless you do a tiny one right before dtd. That's just my opinion, of course. It's a temporary thing. Hopefully your cm continues to pick up and hey, you're using preseed anyway, that's good!

I know, right! We all seem to be way over the getting fat part of it. I have like NO work clothes that fit me (I have to wear suits and crap like that, which are expensive!!) and I'm just tired of looking terrible in clothes. I have a huge muffin top that makes me want to never eat again.

And I did indeed cry when they went to K for the first time, but older is in 3rd now and younger is in 1st, and they go to a great little school that they love with a bunch of pals, so I am actually ok with it. Of course, I would rather be homeschooling them ANYDAY! But gotta work, so that's that. Do you HSers take a summer break or do little bits all year long? Sorry if that's a stupid question.....I have been "working" with mine over the summer to keep them sharp and I found that I really loved our little study sessions, which were more in-depth than the usual homework ones during the year.

LMAO, 3PNB! Good for you for not giving a crap what the family thinks. You are so right, misery loves company. I am glad you have it all straight in your mind and aren't flustered about it. Sounds like you guys are doing fantastic, and your unhappy family members resent you for it in some weird, demented way, so there is nothing you can do about it. But I love the Pinkalicious party idea, that is so creative and cute! I will have to get that book, I've never heard of it. I will ask the girls when I get home, but I know we don't own it. I can't believe you are almost 15 weeks!!!!! YAYYYYY!!!!

Tink, ITA with 3, you need to do diet more than DH, but as you may have read here, we are all getting a little disgruntled with it.....well, mostly with the fat that has joined our bodies because of it. I am actually worried that it is hindering my fertility now. Anyway, so glad you are attempting soon! I can't wait to hear your attempt stories, LOL.

I'm4blue, you are going to be a banana-eating machine by the end of the week!

Im4b don't forget the bananas freeze well for smoothies if you can't eat them all before they go bad! I always cut mine into chunks and froze them and threw them in the blender with juice. OH! And banana soft serve! You just freeze banana chunks, then throw them in the blender or food processor and give it time, and it will turn into JUST the consistency of soft serve ice cream. Delicious. My girls love it with Hershey syrup

3PNB glad your friends and YOUR family are happy for you guys! Sorry the DH's are what they are, but at least that was expected right? The pinkalicious theme sounds darling!

Lola your poor DD2! Was it nerves or was she sick? I hope she's better now! We start school on Monday and my DD1 will be going to kindy ... she is super excited and I am too

WP I think working out in the 2WW is a-ok; I always have done that and have in the past worked out my entire pregnancy, and delivered healthy fat babies at the end The general rule of thumb of course is to not start anything NEW (like if you've not been jogging to suddenly start) during pg and I would just apply that to your 2WW to be safe.

Flava I bet you're doing better than you think you are on the diet! I'll keep my FX you get pg quickly and can drop it!

Daisy and Alexis I hope this is your month for a BFP!!! Oh and Daisy my skin broke out like crazy on the boy diet. Gross. That and my chin hair I'm surprised DH knocked me up.

Tink ITA with the others ... diet is more important for you with the sway than it is for him. I think it is great if he's on it for sure, but I think the point is to make your body an incubator for those Y swimmers!

AFM I am thrilled because today I actually managed to eat like a healthy person instead of someone who only eats white foods. I had fruit salad for breakfast, a cup of lentils and a salad (salad hasn't been in my mouth in months!) for lunch ... am making a roast for dinner but am not sure I'll be able to take meat. Definitely can do the potato though I hope this is going to stick around because it was really nice not to just eat french fries and soda today!
