    thank you for sharing!
there do seem to be so many girl-mums who have a sweet tooth, almost too many that make me wonder if there are other benefits to chocolate, etc., that outweigh the "blue sway" aspects such as endorphins making the women who eat them feel more relaxed/less stressed, the dairy, the blood glucose rise/crash following sweet foods.

I do also normally eat a lot of chocolate/cake (i.e. 1bar of milk chocolate or slice of cake during the day, and then another in the evening to fill that hunger gap that nothing else fills) although I did get a boy still eating that way last time but I otherwise had a near perfect blue sway without knowing it.

I eat like this and i have boys lol I would totally eat a bagel with butter and chocolate all day long, some candy thrown in and then maybe some chicken and pasta for dinner...maybe that is what is swaying for me more? A question i have is do you ladies who are eating like this have struggles with your weight at all?

queen-of-harts, I'm only eating like this because I'm swaying girl (although I'm getting to quite like it!) but I'm losing a good amount of weight quite quickly in doing so - of course I'm watching my calories too.

I ask because i DO struggle with my weight and so i was wondering if the ladies who eat lots of candy and choc. yet got girls maybe their bodies respond differently to all the sweets than my body does,my body takes sugar and treats and firmly attaches itself as fat to my bum and thighs lol are you sugar eating girl moms thin still? also one persons idea of a ton a chocolate is different. My idea of a ton is 2 candy bars a day while someone else sees a ton as 2 candy bars a week or 2 candybars for breakfast,,2 for lunch and 2 for dinner kwim?

q-o-h - I've never gained weight really despite all the junk I eat. After giving birth I was the highest BMI I'd ever been and even then that was mid-healthy-range, but my weight has dropped a bit since then too. I saw on TV (Supersize vs superskinny) one girl ate almost only chocolate, but she was severely underweight - her chocolate took the place of regular foods in her diet so she was full on it but not actually eating enough to gain weight.

Queen I also never had a weight issue in spite of the 2-3 candy bars (plus cookies, cake ... seriously, I ate gross amounts of sweets) but I also was training for marathons and running easily 50 or more miles a week most of the time, and I think the total calories I was eating was fine given my activity level so I stayed thin. To sway boy I dropped the sweets AND the running and I think they cancelled each other out b/c I didn't gain much at all on the notoriously fattening boy diet.

And the funny thing is I would only drink diet soda Like I was scared of sugar?!?! So funny.

Anyhow I would estimate most days my calorie intake was near 3000 and to be honest, probably 50% of that was straight processed carbs. I ran tons and just ate whatever I wanted. It really was pretty normal for me to eat 2-3 candy bars a day, and that alone is at least 800 calories.
    lucky sh*t!!!!
when i trained for a marathon i could eat a bag of cookies and just run it off the next day. but that was in my early 20s..then i turned 25. blah.

for DD1 i proba ate more refined sugars than i should have. i consider myself medium to small build. however i can gain weight very easily espl in the thighs and tummy. when i diet o have cut out carbs altogether not even fruits. and i can lose weight pretty well and fast like that. so wiuth DD1 i read somewhere that it snot good to diet (restrict foods) when trying to conceive so i stopped and was gaining a few pouns here and there bbut on breads and rices, etc.
with DD2 i was dieting and exercising..cardio mostly and limting most bad carbs. i cut out choc about a month or two before i had planned to conceive with both due to caffein in choc (at least at that time i thought it was ano-no). i gain weight easily on bad carbs esply if i dont do anthing about it (exercise) to get rid of it right away.

I did not eat much sugar, but did have a spoonful in my morning coffee vat on the way to the gym. I was like Begonia, I worked out a TON, like 2 hours a day, and I ate well, but just not a *lot* of food. Never breakfast, never anything after dinner at 6pm.....except some wine, LOL. I was always a steady weight, and would definitely eat some sweets if at a party or something, but not much at home. I REALLY think I made girls for 2 reasons: "famine" or low-everything diet, and low testosterone from being um, oppressed by the ex and felt really pretty trapped and helpless in life at that time. But even though I did lift weights, I did a ton of cardio and was super fit.

(Fast forward to swaying blue for a year and now weigh 35lbs more and don't work out, LOL.)

UPDATE: surprise bfp in Feb 2013! It's a BOY!
