Junie, I totally identify with the 'just get preggo already' feeling. I get it every time we TTC, which probably explains all my boys since I end up just frantically doing EVERYTHING to get preggo and sway blue everytime. Bleh.

Though last time with DS3 we were using lots of blue friendly supps like EPO and Bvits too. Plus bd'ing everyday from +OPK through O+1, LOL.
    Me (38) and DH (38)

SAHM military momma to DS1 (2004), DS2 (who's all boy but loves to dance, though not in a tutu!) (2006), DS3 (2009), and our rainbow baby girl DD1 (2017)

    early m/c Jan 2013

Cycle #1 @ HRC (Oct 2014) - 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized and biopsied. 1XX and 1XY abnormal. 1XX no DNA found, rebiopsied and found normal, frozen.
FET attempt #1 (Nov 2014) - cancelled due to functional cyst. FET attempt #2 (Jan 30, 2015) - NT. Remaining embie failed to thaw.

May 2015 - started infertility treatments at OFC. Femara 2.5mg
    July 2015 - BFP after second round of Femara. Aug 4 2015 - 6w4d
    Dec 21 2015 - mmc 7w1d

Apr 2016 - IVF Cycle #2. Converted to IUI because of uneven response and leading follicles.
Apr 19, 2016 - IUI with 3 mature follicles (2 right, 1 left), post wash: 17mil, 94% motility and 89% rapid motility. BFN.

    June 3, 2016 - 5mg Femara cycle. 5w.
    Sep 1, 2016 - 5mg Femara cycle. 8w.

Our rainbow baby girl arrived on Mon Aug 28, 2017 - "After every storm comes a rainbow". We are so thankful and grateful for every moment.

Taytum, I don't think you have PCOS based on those scans. Sounds like the dr just saw normal corpus luteum cysts.

XX, it's possible you Oed on Sunday but I think most likely you haven't Oed yet.

Junie, I hope you O soon! I know well how frustrating it is to wait close to 3 weeks for O. Re: my temps, unfortunately from 1DPO onwards they are completely unreliable and basically invented. Here are my true temps/conditions:

CD19/1DPO: Woke up several hours earlier than usual after 1/3 of my normal amount of sleep to freezing cold house bc heating oil ran out. Temped and got 98.06, but thought I saw a tiny air bubble/didn't want to believe it was so low so retemped after vigorously beating down my thermometer, new temp 98.22. If I enter a temp below 98.18, Advanced removes my CHs. So I switched to Research mode and put in an average of the 2 temps.

2DPO: Woke up sweaty & hot, temp of 100.58. It quickly became apparent that I was seriously ill and feverish.

3DPO: Woke up after 4-5 hours sleep bc of awful chills, temp was 99.7 (and went into the 100s soon after), felt even more ill, like KILL ME PLS. Voice completely gone.

4DPO: Couldn't sleep at all the night before, too much discomfort, and tossed and turned constantly though I was lying in bed for 4-5 hours before temping. Temp of 102.2!

Then I went to the dr, who told me I have a combo virus/bacteria thing going around, and he does think the bacteria is strep. I was prescribed not quite as effective but pregnancy safe Amoxicillin and started it immediately!

5DPO (today): Woke up rather early after 5-6 hours sleep, temp was 99.5. I feel less feverish but that's still a very high temp for me and my throat, by far my worst symptom, isn't any better yet at all. I just took my 3rd pill, hopefully I will see major improvement soon. Plus I get more heating oil today so that will renormalize my external temping conditions.

So even though I should technically discard my temps from 2-5DPO I just can't bear to lose my CHs and see a big gaping hole in my chart.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Oh maiden, how frustrating. Especially since this is your last month TTC for a bit. Glad to hear you got some medicine and should be on the mend soon.

We had our attempt last night. Had a glass of wine, DH had a hot shower and I J&D. I think I'm going to get a +OPK today. So, we'll take everyone's advise and BD again Thursday or Friday in case of late ovulation. Frustrating that I don't know what a true positive is.

    My measurements were

Lace, hope you enjoyed your cheat day!

Thanks, Lace! Any advice on how to get lots of ewcm? I haven't had ANY ewcm since before dd. ...although maybe if I start checking my cervix I'll find some. Good job convincing me I need to do that, lol!

Taytum, that's exactly how mine is, (TMI warning) no more gobs in my underwear, just a wet lube if I stick a finger in at the edge of the canal as Lace says, haven't tried up to the cervix yet.

Maiden, glad to hear you're on the mend! I hear you on the hole in the chart. I had to stop while we traveled over the holidays and it still drives me nuts when I try to go back and compare charts.

    Good luck, smarston and Junie!

Another fact I read yesterday was that if your cortisol levels are low, your body will take progesterone to make cortisol/cortisone, so that can relate to low progesterone levels. Has anyone else heard of that?

maiden - boo on the sick week! Hope the meds kick in fast. A cold house certainly can't be making you feel any better either!

smarston - wow those are some big follies! I'm shocked they haven't ovulated yet. GL tonight, it is really frustrating not to get a +OPK but then OPK's don't work for everyone either. Hope tonight is it!

sage - honestly, nothing I tried ever made a HUGE difference. Being well hydrated, especially green tea, helps. Robitussin is supposed to but to be honest I never noticed a big difference. You can try it though. It's just one of those things that goes with age and I don't know if there's anything that can bring back what you had in your early 20's outside of meds. This last cycle for me was very weird with SO much EWCM, which I hadn't had in over a decade, and it's probably due to all those FET meds I was on in Jan. I'll have to see what happens this cycle, but my usual norm is only EWCM on the day before O and even then I only get any in my undies for a few hours.

I've never heard of that cortisol theory, it sounds interesting! Not a factor for me I'd think. Cortisol is a stress hormone so I've always had too much, lol, so definitely not lacking in cortisol. And I suspect that I've had low prog issues in the past. For me though it makes more sense that it's a weak or immature O from my PCO tendency that leads to a weaker corpus luteum that means a lower prog level.

Oh and we had an awesome cheat meal evening.

First we started with poutine for appetizer while we reheated up the pizza, which had sweet chili thai sauce with bbq steak, sundried tomatoes, and mushrooms. Then we had some pizza with breaded hot sauced wings.

Then we had our sushi. And we watched Air Force One during dinner.

Then I felt a bit guilty so walked the dog for an hour, LOL. When I came back, had a bowl of cereal (omg I've been craving cereal for SO LONG and haven't had a bowl for almost two months!!!) followed by mousse cake. Ahhhhhh.

Still have leftover sushi, lol. I'm going to have a bit of that today since it's okay for pink sway, just the soy makes me retain water.

smarston, so happy you attempted! I am curious to see if you get a true positive. I definitely think you should attempt again in 3-4 days to cover your bases. Based on those follies, I think it's possible only 1-2 will pop and the 18/21/21 follies won't actually O. Alternatively, all of tyem could pop but only the 24 & 21s could be viable, the other 2 being too mature & immature, respectively. There are many potential scenarios that could play out but I think it's VERY unlikely you'd end up with quads or more.

Oh, and I do have ONE more cycle before my break.

sage, thanks! I was even able to eat and semi enjoy 2 large donut hole type things just now. Hopefully my 3 days of mostly juice/soup/hard candy (ok, I also had a moderate serving of vegan ravioli+tomato sauce Sunday, and 2 cookies + 2 donut thingies yesterday) is ok for my girl sway. But I have been 'snacking' in the sense of constantly sucking on candy/drinking juice. :/

I have had CRAZY amounts of EWCM for weeks and weeks this cycle and last. No clue why. It's like I'm in my 20s again. But I will say that for me, eating a high fat diet (60% fat by cals, most from saturated & a little monounsaturated fat), drinking Iots of water (like 6 liters a day) and exercising geberate even more EWCM. I think the exercise helps via raising testosterone levels, which gets partially converted to estrogen.

I have never heard of the cortisol/P connection but all sex hormones share a similar steroid backbone so it could be possible.

Lace, thanks, heating oil man just came early! Yaaaaaay!

maudster, Vitex will do that. Part of how it works. Though the diet can affect your cycle too. Glad you got the right strips!
