Great article! I found myself really irritated with folks and their "gender assumptions" when I was pregnant with my fourth baby. It really brought to light just how "balanced based" our society is and how crazy it is for random people, often even complete strangers, to have a preference on the gender of the child in my belly. We repeatedly stated that we were thrilled for either gender to join our family...and yet we not only recieved tons of wishes for a second girl, but also had several people openly express "disappointment" at the announcement that we had a boy.
A: "Owner" of the following brood:
-Our biggest surprise dude (L: 2009)
-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!
