Do I want my GD TOO much?

DH has agreed to a sway attempt later this year and while I am delighted we can attempt to have a much longed for I am terrified by the desire I feel to have a daughter!! I feel like this will be our last shot, DH has said as much and I don't think I could talk him into a DC4 if DC3 is a boy. I think I am putting myself under so much pressure for this to be our DG that I will hurt our chances. I know that when we do conceive and if we found out it was a boy I would grieve for the longed for daughter but I would love any gender as much as my two sons but I can't stop thinking about it - and we aren't even planning on TTC until September!! Anyone else have/had similar feelings?
On another note - in my DHs family there are 4 older sisters and then DH and his younger brother. The eldest sister has 5 girls, the second sister has no kids, the next has two older boys and a younger girl, the next sister has 1 son and then we have two boys. His younger brother has 2 girls. His eldest niece has 3 boys. Everyone except the third sister have single gender families of their own. So my question is is it possible for some families to be more pre-disposed to single gender families?

Thanks Atomic. I have read that before, just gave it a quick reread and it royalties sense. Just worrying about something I feel I have no control over. Hoping that putting my all into this sway I will feel I am taking a semblance of control back!

Definitely no chance of affording HT unfortunately, I would have to look into it more to see if it is possible to do it in Europe but I am thinking the U.S. is the closest option for us. By the time we organise flights and accommodation and treatment/extras etc I would imagine it working out very expensive. A friend of mine mentioned a consultant gynae in Ireland that has a "foolproof" way of getting your GD...I am sceptical! Would you think she's just misinformed? I didn't want to ask any questions as I have been made feel like GD is a taboo topic, as if I didn't feel guilty enough for feeling this way!!

No one has a foolproof way of gender determination, unfortunately. Even HT is no guarantee altho while you are 100% certain of getting your DG, there is not a 100% chance of getting successfully pregnant!

Very true Atomic, thanks for making so much sense. I'm so up in the air over it all!! One last question if you wouldn't mind - how long in advance should I start planning my sway? I mean, if I renew the coaching subscription and get all the supplements etc ready and figure out the best way to approach the LE diet in advance of the sway do you think that might help keep stressing levels to a minimum? As you've possibly noticed I'm a worried and I tend to get a little too involved in thinking things through, I'm presuming that kind of personality sways blue - right?

We are getting best results with 12 weeks or more on diet, so you would ideally want to have a plan in place and then be ready to diet for 12 weeks.

I will renew the coaching service at the end of this month I think, if our sway attempts are for Sept/Oct/Nov then that gives me plenty of time to get things in place and kinda all set in my head!! Plus thats when I get paid lol. Thanks again Atomic, really looking forward to embarking on this journey with your help and support!
