The earliest I would go for a gender scan would be 16 weeks. I want to be sure as possible.
I'm kicking around doing either Harmony or MaterniT21, since I am 35. We will see though. I'm not sure I want to spend the money on that, since I will get more than the traditional 2 ultrasounds.
We will see.
GL!

Can you just get one US and the Panorama test? That is my plan if I ever get pregnant again. I am not confident that ultrasounds are 100% safe so I want to limit them as much as possible. I wouldn't have one at all except to rule out an EP and/or twins bc of my history.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I would have loved to done a panorama or harmony. But I am 33 and I know insurance wouldn't have paid jack for it. DH said no way. We can go to a private ultrasound place for $65 and get a gender scan guaranteed at 14 weeks. Obviously they can get it wrong, but it is my only option really:-/ if they can't tell gender for sure they have you keep coming back for free.
I really think I will wait until at least 15 weeks

Keepthefaith- how much was your Doppler? I looked on amazon, but not sure if DH would want to spend the money.

Mine set in with this one at 4 weeks but didnt get bad or steady until 6 weeks. It was horrendous from 6 to 9 weeks and then average from 9 to 10 weeks and now its slowly gotten better each day.

I had a nausea spell at 8 dpo this time. That's what made me take a test. I just knew I was pg then!! It didnt kick in full time until about a week later. It is the earliest I have had it! With ds1 I was 5+ weeks. With ds3 I was almost 8 weeks. And ds3 around 7 wks.
I hate having nausea at night when I am trying to sleep. After a few nights of no sleep I will take a unisom/b6 before bed and it really does help. I don't even get sick in the morning after I take it. I do second guess taking it sometimes because of my loss probably. But lots of ladies on here have taken it
Sorry it has kicked in so early for you! Wasn't it just yesterday I seen you post some where that you couldn't wait for the sickness to kick in! :-/

I am shocked that it happened so early. We will see if it keeps happening. I bet it is just hormones!

Gah! ! I just cant catch a break. I had bronchitis for 5 weeks...i got a one week long reprieve and now i had the tummy bug two days and now a full blown cold! Why?!?!! Lol. I am so nervous this baby is going to have issues from my constant illnesses. Seriously though i normally have a super immune system when pregnant. I was never sick with my other pregnancies.. this sucks!
Thanks for letting me rant. Haha!DS 12008
