Oh such cute bumps, ladies!
I'm trying to play catch-up, here, but have been limiting my online time a lot, but I always read up on you all!
Nahri- I hope that you are ok and able to mange the GD well. That has got to be difficult, but you will feel better, hopefully and not so tired. I have been feeling really tired nd no energy lately...but I was not eating well for a few days, ok I was eating crap and therefore felt like it. As soon as I straightened up over the past couple of days, I am finally feeling much better. I need to avoid the junk carbs altogether or I am a bear. My poor family. I've never had GD, but have felt so awful, so moody that reading your post made me realize I need to be more careful in what I eat!
I am using Bio Oil for stretch marks, although I never had a huge issue with them, but do hve few-I have a few just at my waist line and down to the bikini area. I also have used Fold Bond Extra Dry skin lotion out of absolute desperation from the itchiness I was having on my tummy from the stretching. I normally will not use chemical lotions, but it was such a relief for me!
I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and I feel so huge, as well! I have only gained 7 lbs so far, but I always lose weight in the beginning, so that is why, partially. I try to eat healthy, but I also cannot fit much in my stomach from the time I can finally eat normally, it seems. I am feeling like I have to roll to get up from bed, squatting all the way to the floor to pick up anything is a chore and tums are my friend because I have heartburn so often, now. She kicks me hard like my first son did and is awake as soon as I go to bed, of course! I started feeling more consistent movements around 18 weeks but it significantly increased around 20, so do not worry if you don't feel a lot before then. I was very worried, as well and started looking online and asked my OB, who said it's totally normal. Oh, and the moon face...I do feel quite chubby looking in the face and I look tired and oldbut, I agree it is worth it

Nahri- I'm with you. I only have three pairs of decent pants that are maternity pants and I buy L-XL sized shirts with a cute belt very often in place of maternity shirts.and they are so expensive. In that case I hit the Target clearance section and have found the cutest stuff.
Wishing you all a wonderful week and happy Spring in the N hemisphere, by the way!

Hi ladies thought I'd check in been reading but was too upset to talk but I'm ok now ii tried shopping again and it didn't go to plan still upset the jihad a long chat with my man and said how can I get excited if he wasn't and its making me worse and he replied he was super excited about having his first son what man wouldn't be .....I felt so relieved then and he explained that he didn't want to rub my face it as id not had my desired gender after many tears and hugs I'm doing great went shopping again and bam hundreds of pounds later new pushchair clothes in fact everything except a steriliser hee hee ....... and we have named him as well so all is real and feeling good bless my better half though he said I can see why you wanted to sway etc and it's more of a need than a want for me to have a girl so he's saving for pgd for us so i feel hopeful , lovely bumps ladies ......oh and we've picked Nyle Kenneth as his name Kenneth after my grandad ......wishing you all well ladies

Honestly he is he shocked me as he has 3 girls so I didn't think he would be fussed but he is he even phoned the clinic in Cyprus already now I'm on slimming world to be healthy and good weight range and he's back to none smoking to keep the swimmers up I really hope everyone gets there desired gender to save them from the feelings I had I was speaking to a midwife about same sex families and she said usually it's 3-4 then an opposite is thrown in and I'm very unusual

3boysblessed- so far I have been able to control it with diet and I am weeding out the things I cannot have at certain times a day. I had it last time and oatmeal was a fine breakfast. I tried that the other day and it shot my sugar up to the point I felt sick. We went and walked the stores for a while to burn it off and I felt much better after that. I've found I can have it for lunch just not first thing in the morning. I miss fruit mostly because the majority of the stuff I like eating is either higher in sugar or its a carb fruit. So just small pieces as snacks
But it will all be worth it in the end so I don't
measure ahead or pop out a small moose instead of a 7lb like my DS was.
angel-pink so glad to hear you have found your upswing and have a supportive DH it really does make all the difference!
