Currently ttc and no luck thus far. Trying to be patient and I'm not in a frenzy yet :) but I'm starting to wonder how long before I should probably go to the OB? Side note, I'm turning 34 sooner rather then later and I've even whipped out the OPK because I'm not confident that I am ovulating. I've read at this age 6 months and no luck then perhaps you should see the Doctor while other places say 12 months... So, **blushing** What would your call be?

Are you having regular sex all cycle long or only briefly right around when you think you're Oing? How are you determining O? I would make sure you have at least 3 months of 100% covered BD timing (and temping confirming O) before seeking help, personally.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

If you can tell me what all you're doing I can tell you what to tweak to up odds of conception.
I do feel it behooves you to go in sooner rather than later. 6 months is reasonable. They take forever to do anything many times, so going in sooner can get the wheels moving a little more quickly than they would otherwise.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

ABSOLUTELY 100% GO NOW. Make the appointment, get some tests done. Tell them you've been trying for a year (lie if you have to). If there IS a problem, it might take some time to diagnose it. Don't waste another second!

Sorry- way, way late response on my half. Sometimes I lurk every evening and other times I just need a break
Four months of no luck so far. We've been pacing every four days trying to get it the day I'm supposed to ovulate, other times we literally wait till the day I ovulate. I'm thinking no luck this time (two weeks to find out) then I'm just going to (wo)man up and call the OB. I'm just a tad reluctant to call them because this would be our fourth, perhaps if it was our first or second (if that makes any sense)
Only room for one more so hoping to sway for

Don't worry! I had two healthy babies and told my doc I was having trouble conceiving #3. I was whisked right off to the local fertility clinic! GL!

The day you ovulate is really not the best chance of conception. O-1 and 2 is much higher odds of conception than O day. I am suspecting you've just not timed it right thus far.
Any other supps, jellies, douches?? Is DH biking a lot or sitting in hot tubs, that could lower odds of conception.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I sgree, I think you've been BDing too late. 3/4 of my first 4 cycles TTC pink I BDed too late and missed O bc OPKs don't work well for me. I strongly recommend trying a few cycles of BD every 4 days ALL cycle long so you for sure don't miss O.
