We ended up not being able to bd last night for our 4 day pattern so we dtd this am. With potential trigger on wednesday, should i still plan on trigger night and then thursday too or would that make for 3 attempts in our window vs 2 as we would do the deed sunday, wed and thurs vs sat, wed and thurs?

Yes still have those attempts. This latest one is really too far out to benefit odds of conception.

REmember, your odds of pink are already higher by virtue of having been on the medication as long as you have. Time to get pg!!

No trigger as I have 4 mature follicles ready making the risk of multiples too high. So now should I will attempt today and then probably add in a second attempt at opk positive if that comes before our next attempt on sunday. I am worried that could give us 3 attempt in the fertile window though. Does every 4 days plus 1 attempt at opk pos ensure just 2 attempts?

Are you sure that you O'd? I am asking because I did 2 rounds of Clomid, and I got a "tie" on my OPK (test line was same as control, but not darker). They always say this is a +, but it wasn't for me, and I did not ovulate (confirmed by u/s) and got AF 8 days later.

I had a temperature spike so I guess I just assumed I did.

I suppose that there could be some scenario where you just happen to manage an attempt o-3, then have another attempt at pos OPK, then again on the day of O itself when the every 4 days rolls around.

The thing is that since both O-3 and O day are slim pickings in the conception department, do they possibly end up to = one attempt really?? Or even less than that (esp. the O-3 one)

At some point, I really think that you guys are overthinking things. the biggest point of the every 4 days is TO REDUCE STRESS and eliminate the figuring and conjuring that people do. It is very likely that sways too so I really think it is best to just do every 4 days and damn the torpedoes, if the Gods have decreed that it ends up being O-3, pos opk, and O day, so be it, YK?

Just a reminder - fertility medicine > one attempt anyway!

You are right. I had my positive last night, so timing as of now is o-3 and o-1. Konda torn on whether to dtd tomoght or wait and go first thing tomorrow (which is technically my scheduled round on the every 4 day schedule). Based off of your response, I should probably wait for tomorrow morning.

I think if I need another round I will just bd every 3 days to take away the confusion of the added attempt.
