Im sorry tm29. I haven't joined in this cycle but try to keep up when I can. I am 39 as well and have been on a long journey. My AF came early as well, so annoying. Have you been to the dr. yet? Are you pretty sure you ovulated. I remember seeing your chart before and you were having a long cycle. Could be breakthrough bleeding. Hoping you can get things figured out soon! HUGS!

You're all so so kind! I'm really touched. I have to say I'm pretty devastated. I know I'll pull myself together, I always do, but it's rough right now. I have cramps. I wish I could kid myself but I can't.

Yep - this morning I am definitely out. I'm so worried! It's not like swaying pink where you're effectively making it really hard to get pregnant. I'm supposedly making it really easy to get pregnant. Going to see the doctor...

Thanks djmommy. Are you swaying pink or blue? Nice to have a fellow 39-er around here. I'm sorry to hear you've been on a long journey. What you and I need is short journeys.

I definitely had a +opk - but I guess it's possible I didn't ovulate. I've been trying to avoid clomid because people use it for pink sways, but I'll definitely be taking anything I'm given from here on in. I so, so wanted a little boy, but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Extra hard that a friend just emailed to say - great news! Yes, you guessed it. A little boy. And yes I am happy for her but I am also in a very sorry for myself state of why-oh-why-can't-that-be-me.

I haven't been charting, but you may be remembering my story. I had no cycles after bfing my daughter. Then I got pg with clomid. Then lost the baby at 12 wks. Then had 3 d and c's to resolve the issue. Then 4 months no cycle. Now this. All while steadily gaining weight on the HE. So, so fun. Real high point in my life.

Ok. complaining over. djmommy - I hope you get your bfp this month and get out of this crazy game. It's too stressful! FX for you.

TM29- You are allowed to complain! Your journey has been ridiculously hard and you deserve lots of respect for not giving up!!! I am SO SO sorry that AF came- we have all been there and know how sad, frustrating, and miserable this whole process can make us. TTC is bad enough on its own but then all the trouble that goes along with the diets and timing and everything else is enough to make anyone go crazy. Plus you're forced to think about TTC ALL THE TIME which makes every BFN and AF a hundred times worse.

I just want to say hang in there, you will get your BFP and hopefully your baby boy. I know at least 7 women who have had their first or second in their 40s with and without medical help. You are not out of the TTC game yet- and you can definitely still get a boy with clomid.
