I'm getting a faint OPK (see pic) on CD 14, but had a glob of EWCM this morning after I sneezed. TMI...sorry! Okly had a little EWCM yesterday. I'm really dried up due to LE diet so the large amount of EWCM today concerns me that it's happening now. I usually ovulate on CD15 or 16. Not sure if we should BD tonight or take a chance and wait until tomorrow. This is our 2nd month TTC. Thoughts?

Faint OPK and lots of EWCM

I'd start doing opks twice a day, afternoon and before bed, and BD when you get a true positive, not before.
Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
Oct 2014
July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

Have you been using them as a 'practise' in the months leading into your attempts?
I can't work out the OPK's - I got a couple of faint ones like yours but then never got a 'positive' dark line - and then they started fading and eventually stark white... Would it be possible that your faint OPK could be as strong as it's going to get for you?
I don't really have an answer for you - but maybe someone can shed some light on the possibility of what I mentioned? Your faint line may be as 'positive' as you will get?
Anyone else have that?

Yep! I saw a dark one last month but it was still seen 2 days before I actually ovulated according to fertility friend.

When in doubt, BD. The reason I say this is because there is no magic to the pos OPK, it doesn't sway, it's just an easyish way of getting in that one attempt when you're in your fertile microwindow and best odds of conception. BUT, DTD any time on O-2 or O-1 are both good odds of conception and even O-3 and O Day are not impossible either, so it is MUCH better to have an attempt early rather than waiting and waiting for a positive that may never come.
I would be in with that attempt ASAP from here on in Fefe.Good luck and pink dust.
