Can anyone give a brand name or the type of probiotic supplement you take? I bought a bottle through amazon but then I read a few articles to be careful with purchasing probiotic supplements. They stated that capsules may not have the accurate amount or strain of microorganisms we need. Also we have to make sure the microbes are still living in the capsules because a lot can be dead by the time we purchase them. I started refrigerating my supplements to keep the microbes alive. I eat a lot of yogurt so I'm getting it from there but just want to know if someone has more info on choosing the right supplements.

I have two boys and have always taken Culturelle probiotics. They're cheapest at Costco and Vitacost.com. They are shelf stable, but I store them in the fridge once I get home.

Most of the people who write articles online about how terrible this brand or that brand is, are selling some other brand.
Any name brand type is fine and if you get the type that come in a refrigerator that's even better.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
