I'm just wondering if anyone else has had mid cycle pink discharge/spotting whilst on the le diet?
It has happened a couple of times and always seems to be before or during ovulation and not enough to wear a pad. My ovulation time and luteal phase has always been the same at14 days.
I know it's not infection and smears are up to date and normal so it's the only thing thats changed. I've lost about 10lb in 3.5 months but am a healthy bmi still.

It has happened to me a few times and I still don't really know why. Didn't have any last cycle so hopefully it was just one of things we notice while TTC. I started drink Red Rasberry Leaf Tea and coincidently it stopped. Maybe check with Atmoic.

Thanks dj. Does raspberry leaf sway pink or did you just start taking it for the bleeding? I'm wondering now having done a bit more reading if it's the aspirin. I'm taking baby aspirin daily as I have had two chemical pregnancies when I was ttc my son so i started taking it before ttc him daily and right up until 37/40 pregnant. I might cut it down to 3-4 times per week and see if that helps.

Def the aspirin! Though light spotting around O is very common and totally normal due to the softening of the cervix. The aspirin thins your blood making you more prone to bleeding.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

It's the aspirin. I would wean back, I am not sure that what you are doing there is wise at all based on 2 chemical pregnancies.
Have you checked that with your doctor?? They don't usually suggest doing that unless there is a stronger medical reason (and not trying to minimize your chemicals in any way, just that typically they need a diagnosis of a clotting disorder or many more repeated unexplained losses than that.)
Remember, the same bleeding from your cervix that the aspirin can cause, it can also cause in your stomach and brain. When you're pregnant your blood typically gets more "clotty" and so you can compensate for it, when not TTC you may not be able to tolerate it at that level.!!! Thanks maidn and atomic. I think it's because I read about clotting disorders at the time so thought I'd try it and I got BFp the first month trying it and was too scared to stop. I didn't tell anyone I was taking it at the time. I have noticed I bruise more easily recently as well. I will take it 3 times a week from now and see if it stops next cycle

P.s. Just did an opk and it was stark negative so I know it's not that. Due to o on cd 20 and I'm only cd 12 now. Stepped up my exercise this cycle but slacked slightly with the diet. Still skipping breakfast until 12 but eaten more protein this last week than I should have. It's so hard!

You very well may have just coincidentally had a good egg that month too though.
ANyone reading this, it is IMPERATIVE to tell your doctor if you are taking aspirin (beyond the way we take it, weaning off at BFP). If you are taking aspirin later on into pregnancy and were to go into labor prematurely, you and the baby could have severe bleeding issues at birth.!!!
