    What to do differently

First month on 50mg of clomid I took it cd 5-9. O'd on cd 16, had spotting then on cd 24 and 25 and ended up with a 25 day cycle.

Second month I switched to cd3-7 and dr. Added 200 mg progesterone cd17-26. I o'd on cd15, spotted on cd 23 and 24 and ended with a 24 day cycle.

This month i switched back to cd 5-9 with progesterone for ten days. I had the trigger shot on cd 17 and o'd on cd18. I am now 12dpo, still big fat negatives on cheapies, but no spotting which is great. I had my progesterone tested 5dpo since I was spotting so early. It came back at 8.12. This was after taking the progesterone supplement for 2 nights.

Dr. Is calling me tonight to discuss the results and next months plan. Anyone experience anything similar that can offer suggestions on what should I ask to do differently? I also have a low amh (.16) and my bmi is now 17.8. I have lost 2 more pounds even with increasing to 2,000 calories

Sorry, don't really know about clomid. I does sound like you have lost too much weight. Hopefully atomic will pop in. Good luck!

Whoa.....that is a REALLY low bmi. Have you had your thyroid tested? If you're not trying to lose weight and you keep dropping despite trying to gain, you really should check if you might have a thyroid issue causing that.

Your AMH indicates DOR issues too. Are you planning on moving onto IVF? Is that an option for you at all? You might try posting on the HT boards, the gals there know a lot more about ART/HT stuff.

My thyroid was tested prior to starting clomid. I am not dropping rapidly. I was holding steady at 106 for a couple months, but dropped down to 104 and now am bouncing between 104-106 depending on the month.

No plans for ivf. I already have 3 beautiful boys and am 38, so I am OK with being done if that is what ends up being in the cards. I just want to know I gave it my all to at least add one more. So I have no regrets. But we are about to start our 6th month of trying and I am starting to want to give up. I spoke too soon and started spotting this morning. But that should still give me a minimum of a 12 day lp, which is good considering the other months.

12 day LP is MORE than fine. I'd kill for an even 10 day LP right now. I've never in my life had a 12 day LP and still managed to conceive three times with no intervention.

6 months is honestly not that long, especially at 38.

Patience is hard! LOL Especially when you want it so bad. My personal expectations keep lowering though....lol....right now I'd be delighted if I ovulated before freaking CD22 and had an LP that was longer than 5 days. I just want a shot, ANY shot. Sigh.

With the lower AMH it can just be a waiting game. We have to wait for Goldie to show up.

I would add Ubiquinol 400-600 mg a day if yu haven't already.
