Thread: Cardio Moms

    Cardio Moms

My kids are really used to doing my brisk hour long walk in the jogging stroller so that part of my sway is actually going well.

I try to do 60 minutes 6x a week with one day off. Is additional walking good, bad, or indifferent for the sway? Like for instance this morning we walked 60 minutes In a row. Went somewhere and then walked home (20 minutes). Is that additional 20 minutes make for a stronger sway for the exercise part. Or is it almost swaying blue since it was only 20 minutes? Keep in mind I'm doing this in addition to the 60 continuous minutes.

Water is ok during the 60 minutes, right?

Does anyone else try to pick up the pace for the last 15 minutes?

You're doing great! I think anything in addition to the 60 straight minutes is fine. Water is fine. Just no snacking while walking. My friend who walks EVERYWHERE has two boys, but she often eats a small pack of peanuts or corn nuts on her walks. Defeats the purpose.

    Great job!!!

It's what I do as well. With two boys we're always up and moving aren't we? I cycle a lot, take the kids to the park or walk to school. I think the fact that next to that we do 60+ cardio is the main factor.

So it basically doesn't hurt or help my sway? It's the 60 minutes that count and/are important, right?

Once you've done one bloc of 60 minutes, everything else is just gravy.

The only "20 minutes" I want people to avoid is breaking up the 60 min. into 3 20 minute blocs - that may sway blue. But 60 min. plus an additional 20 min here or there sways pink.

Yes don't eat while exercising and then eat only before or after if you need to. Not both.

Drinking water during exercise is fine right? I get so thirsty and pee a lot also lol and hope it doesn't affect my sway with a few short pee breaks here and there?

I doubt a pee break would ruin it
