I did the pencil test. That was creepy. DH said it was silly, but what gender guessing test's aren't, right?

Seabee- did you do it over your belly or over your wrist? I had done the ring test over my belly and it did both a circle and a line haha. But tonight I did the pencil test, and it is totally creepy. It accounted for pregnancies that didn't work out, the right number including this one, with the boys in their appropriate slots. Creepy.

And it said girl. So of course I'm hoping lol

So I just did the pencil test too. Creepy. It was right for DS1 and DS2, but not this baby. It kept saying girl. I keep having dreams that his gender changed on my anatomy scan.

I'm believing the materniT21 test. I doubt that would be wrong. I'm hoping it's not anyway!!

Did you get an US today purple? Is everything ok?

Thanks for thinking of me... I have had my ultrasound and unfortunately it seems my intuition was correct as the baby was measuring at 5wks 4d when it should be 7wks today. No heartbeat could be picked up which the US tech said was because the baby was still too small but I know my dates and when I O'd so its not looking good. I managed to get into my Dr and she has taken a blood test and will test again Tues (Monday is a public holiday here) to see what Hcg levels are doing.

I feel like I knew exactly that this was going to happen but it doesn't make it any easier. Now I'm in limbo waiting to see if my body will end the pregnancy on its own. I had a d&c after my blighted ovum so I don't know what it is like to have a natural miscarriage but my Dr has explained what to expect.
