angel-pink, huge, huge hugs. It sounds like you really need them. Though your OH was well intentioned people should never devalue another persons feelings. I can only imagine the pain you must be feeling. I only wish I had the words to make the pain go away x

happy1981, huge hugs for you as well. I'm glad you're seeing someone about how you're feeling. I have been down the GD path before and no-one understands. You do feel very isolated. It helps massively when you have someone outside of your situation to talk to about it.

business.woman, I'm very sorry to hear your relationship is struggling. Sending you love. My ex and I broke up when I was about 2-3 months pregnant with my soon to be 10 year old. I was able to break up with him after an argument and I had thought long and hard as to whether I wanted to be with him for the rest of my life, for me, the answer was no. I never looked back.

Nahri, OMG to your mother!!! I could use plenty of colourful language here! I'm sure you get the drift though. So glad you stood up to her! How is that gorgeous baby of yours going?


I had my 34 week ultrasound today. Bub is measuring a couple of days behind and weighing approximately 2.2 kgs. He is head down and has his legs tucked under his bum. Which explains why I haven't felt any feet in my ribs yet (although no complaints from me about that, lol). Baby is still a boy (once he finally moved his feet). So, that is also good. I also know why I feel him on the right, placenta is on the left. We didn't get the film though I don't think we would be able to see much anyway. We couldn't see his face because he had his hands in the way. We got a nice shot of his ears though, lol. I know it could go up and down either way but the ultrasonographer seems to think bub may end up being around the 7lb mark. All good with me, my heaviest baby was just over 8lb.

Happy I honestly don't think seeing anyone would help me I've argued both sides in my head people can't have kids he's healthy be great ful /why me why so many boys how do I fail time and time again what have I done so wrong to not get my 1 and only wish

My sister keeps phoning to see if I'm ok supposed to be going tonight to see her baby last night I broke down this pregnancy if the worst by far I swear he's trying to kill me I honestly don't think I'd mind if it was a girlI was going through it for but the fact im in so much pain no sleep and it's a boy isn't doingme any favours I just hope this feelinggoeswhen he's here because it hasn't in the last 13 weeks :'-(

I'm so sorry to hear your struggling angel-pink! I don't think anything I say will help but I hope you find peace with this lucky boy to come into your family.

Business woman- don't make my hasty choices unless you know exactly the right path to go down. Our hormones make the simplest of decisions difficult so I hope you are ok.

I'm actually feeling super relieved today! I had a growth scan and consultant appointment this morning as my baby was measuring small and under the line for my gestation two weeks ago. Today she is measuring just over the line and is around 3lbs already at nearly 30 weeks. I have another appointment in 4 weeks to do the same and if all is good and well I won't need to be induced! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that as it'd my goal to go into labour naturally this time

Boysway & Ugee: I know I dont want him in my future, I have been strugling for years , but now I have 2 kids from him , so the decision is so much harder
But I have to wait untill after I have this baby and get myself together .

I had an appoinment today , everyrhing is good ans my blood level went up (phew) , baby weight is 2 k , 800 g and measuring 36 weeks & 2 days

How much weight should he gain untill my due date?
Im hoping to have bigger baby this time , since dd was 2 k and 700 g when I had her .

If I remember correctly, I was told at late pregnancy baby usually gains 0.5lb per week. Can't remember if that was from 37 or 38 weeks... I hope you and little one are well
