I'm feeling so stressed and frustrated! I know about 6 people right now pregnant with girls, one of them being my step sons mother!!! This is her second dd as she had one a month after I had my youngest ds. She was all "oh I thought this one was going to be a boy, my husband must be one of those guys with all girl sperm". I try to look happy for all of these people but on the inside I am so crushed, I am the one doing all this work and swaying and they do NOTHING! I have been on the diet 9 months now with 4 months of BFN, I'm starting to slip on the diet and with summer and BBQ season starting I don't know if I can do it! I really thought I would be pregnant by now, the longer it takes the more stressed I get and get scared I will go into blue territory! I feel like I was so relaxed when I got pregnant with both my ds but as this will be my last it's like all the pressure is on!

First of all you don't know what they were doing. Lots of people do things that sway gender for them that are not visible or obvious.
Secondly, after you've been on the diet for 9 months (and I do not understand why you've been on it that long if you've only been ttc 4 months) then it is fine to start relaxing and in fact you probably SHOULD. Your body probably needs a little more food to go on now.
Thirdly, stress does not sway blue. You guys need to quit worrying about "stress". Studies have shown that stress actually sways pink, it's being a control freak that sways blue. Being a control freak gives people stress, but it is not really the stress that sways, it's trying to control everything all the time.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Sorry I should say 4 attrmps! I say for months because my cycle went from 27 days to 38-40 days so my "months" have started to stretch out! I always ovulate on day 12 still that part never changed, but it now takes forever for AF to show!

The stress part for me is not needing to be in control, it's more of the waiting! I always take my test at about 12-14 dpo but because I'm not gettin AF for an additional 14 days after that I start to do the "oh I don't feel good today, oh my boobs hurt a little, I have cramps, maybe I am pregnant!" And this goes on and on for so long when I finally get AF I have worked myself all up for more disappointment! Then friends come and say "guess what we are pregnant and its a girl!" With my boys we just had to say the word baby and I was pregnant! My DH keeps telling me we should be doing it more and hates the one attempt but I'm not willing to give that up! I feel like this is why shettles was working for people, not because it was 3 days before but because it was actually a 1 attempt! And the boys on o day because people were dtd all the way up until then! Maybe I'm wrong but that's just how I feel, and for me my first + opk is only a day before my peak day anyway!

Can't you take something to make your periods more regular?

Ok you are not timing your attempt properly if this is the case. Your luteal phase will only be 14 days long. It doesn't get longer. YOu are NOT ovulating when you think you are, even if you get a positive OPK, it is a false positive, and then you are ovulating days/weeks later. So you aren't able to get pregnant because you are not having sex at the right time to catch the egg.
I want you to switch to the every 4 day. What you can do is, go ahead and have your one attempt when you THINK you are ovulating (because you may very welll get lucky next month and have ovulation at your normal time) and then after that, start DTD every 4 days. That way you will catch the egg when it shows up.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks Atomic I have been debating about doing the every 4 days. Are the results about the same as the one attempt? I think your right and that's my best bet of getting BFP. Should I even bother with my fertility monitor or any opk's?
