Candida in the body and BOY swaying

Hi. About a year ago, I tried Plexus Slim for weight loss. While everyone around me was losing weight, I did not...at all I think. So I looked on the site, and it said somewhere that if you have a hard time losing weight, you might have a large amount of Candida. I did not purchase the recommended pills. But I did do the "spit test", and it was positive. I wasn't surprised because of my dietary habits, lots of sweets and breads. I did not get blood/stool work done, but I'm pretty sure I have a large amount of this. I was dx with Gastritis and intestinal issues (nothing major) from time to time (love spicy!). Anyways, here are my questions:

    1. Would large amounts of candida in my body somehow sway pink instead of blue?

    2. If I did a cleanse (full body or candida) or take pills to help rid some of it, will it sway one gender or the other?

I changed my swaying months to the end of July/August/September. There was a 10 day cleanse that I could do, and in fact I would think that a cleanse would neutral the body out to start fresh. I do have 2 girls and was curious if candida would affect my BOY sway. I seen some women posting about yeast infections, but I was curious about yeast in general. I plan on limiting my sweets for my sway, and going REALLY strict with diet starting with AF. Thanks in advance.

Well, I think a lot of sites like to blame Candida for everything and since we ALL have it on us all the time, a spit test will read positive for pretty much everyone!

1)We don't know. There has been speculation about this before and I have an essay about it here. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...nfections.html

2)While I"m not terribly concerned about it for you, what we can do is have you take or eat 1 clove fresh garlic every day and/or take grapefruit seed extract. Both of these things sway blue.

Ok I can try the garlic and Grapefruit seed extract.

This is the Candida Cleanse I was talking about, although they are not specific about the herbs used so I probably should just stick to the above.

What Does The 10 Day Candida Cleanse Consist Of?

    (1) Sugar Control Formula - Contains plants that have been traditionally used to help end the unnatural craving and addiction for 'man-made' sugars including high fructose corn syrup. This formula also help balance and normalize blood sugar levels in the body. Vegetarian capsules (50 capsules)

    (2) Candida Normalizer (A.M.) - Contains a combination of herbs traditionally believed to possess specific antifungal properties, and to help lower your body’s level of bacteria overgrowth. Also considered to help maintain balance in your body’s internal ecology, especially the colon and female genital region. Vegetarian capsules (50 capsules)

    (3) Blood & Lymphatic Formula -Contains plants that have traditionally been believed to help cleanse the circulatory and lymphatic systems of toxins, while helping your body retain vital nutrients. Vegetarian capsules (50 capsules)

    (4) Candida Normalizer (P.M.) - Contains a combination of herbs traditionally believed to possess specific antifungal properties, and to help lower your body’s level of bacteria overgrowth. Also considered to help maintain balance in your body’s internal ecology, especially the colon and female genital region. Vegetarian capsules (50 capsules)

    (5) Yoni Formula - Contains plants traditionally believed to help women’s bodies nourish and strengthen the reproductive system’s structures and functions, including the uterus and cervix. (“Yoni” is a Sanskrit word meaning “vagina” or “womb.”) Vegetarian capsules (50 capsules)

    (6) Colon & Digestive Tract Formula - Contains a combination of plants traditionally believed to help support and fortify the colon and intestinal tract. Also considered to support effective digestion, assist in the relief of gas, and help the colon cleanse itself of toxins and waste. The plants in this formula help to mildly stimulate peristalsis, help to repair damaged villi, assist in lubricating the colon, and aid in the formation of healthy stool. Vegetarian capsules (50 capsules)

Candida Normalizer Tea - Dherbs.com encourages every person performing the Candida Cleanse to drink a cup of this tea a day. It contains a combination of herbs traditionally believed to possess specific antifungal properties, and to help lower your body’s level of bacteria overgrowth. Also considered to help maintain balance in your body’s internal ecology, especially the colon and female genital region. *20 Tea Bags

Yeah I'm always a littel wary when I can't check all the ingredients.

I have found that A LOT of things thare are marketed as "cleanses" are really just strong laxatives. They trick you into thinking toxins are fleeing your body but really you're just pooping a lot.

I have had a series of unexplained health issues over the years. One hollistic chiropractor told me I had the candida excess too. I tried a huge amount of things over the course of 8-10 years to make my migraines go away, deal with a bizarre yeast infection type problem, and feel better overall.

The two things that really helped me improve my health and feel better than ever were
    1. cutting out gluten, not completely, but mostly
    2. the HE diet

I swayed for this baby boy for 2 years and I could do the HE in my sleep. The downside was I gained 20 lbs over those 2 years and I wish them away daily, but I have never felt better in my life.

I considered a lot of cleanses and even tried a few but more than anything I think flushing out your body with healthy, nutrient dense food over a period of time is ideal over a quick colon cleanse that produces some change, but maybe not lasting change.

Good luck, when you are trying to chase a problem that isn't obvious it is so frustrating.

Hmm that gives me a thought Adia - I wonder how much of the candida issues were actually gluten related for people. Before the gluten-free thing came along, everything was blamed on candida and the candida diets are usually cutting out breads and grains - makes me wonder if it could have been gluten all along.

Have you ever tried going gluten free (or nearly so) kk? It's quite easy to do on HE and will make it so you don't gain as much weight while swaying.

I definitely think gluten and candida go hand in hand. The yeast factor, the genetic modification of wheat in today's foods, the increase in gluten to make bread softer, etc.
My 'yeast infection' issue was really an eczema type reaction to gluten. It just so happened to manifest in my crotch....which was a miserable nightmare for years. Once I cut out gluten, I still ate a little here and there. When I ate too much I could tell right away because my crotch started itching/breaking out and I felt like I had a yeast infection!!

Although I did pretty well being gluten free before the HE, I did better than ever on the HE. I do think the HE mentality helped me not gain as much weight as I could have and it made me really make my food count because I knew I was eating more than I needed to survive.

Some of my favorite things were dark choclate & walnuts, craisins or dried apricots and salty sunflower seeds, spaghetti sauce with meatballs over cottage cheese, salmon mixed with rice and still crispy cooked cabbage (DEVINE!!). All of that stuff was stellar and no gluten in sight!

I know its trendy but in all honestly, if you have an unexplained health issue, just start peeling of the problem back with cutting out gluten. It made a huge difference in my life! If that isn't the problem, put it back in your diet. I suffered for years unnecessarily and I won't go back to that.

I get eczema inside my ears and it is the WORST!!! It's so awful. :/ You can get it anywhere.

Just because something is trendy, doesn't mean it isn't true!

Eek I also get eczema in my ears, it actually feels like it's inside my head sometimes, as it's itching very deeply into my ears. My mother also though she had eczema in her ears, but turns out it was an earinfection, so will have my new gp have a look at it. Also have eczema around my eyes (I'm allergic to make-up remover and have nasty hayfever, so I rubrubrub and am only making it worse, but I just can't stop rubbing and scratching!) and on my hands and now also have a spot on my behind ugh. Also been getting regular yeastinfections, so nasty and painful. For me cutting out gluten and sugar has really helped with all of my issues. But being a vegetarian and a picky eater (I'm like my toddler with regards to food...), I felt it was just too hard to keep up the glutenfree diet. I will give it another go once I'm pregnant and will slowly get used to eating glutenfree again. I think it will only benefit me and baby, but it may be hard as I get so nausious when I'm pregnant and all I crave are french fries and chocolate! If I were to sway blue, I'd prob go down that route plus the meat and cleanse my body with healthy foods and probiotics. Good luck!
