Yes chitosan, vitex has been getting less than stellar results but many have used it.

I definitely recommend fiber before fatty/nutritious meals. I personally use ground psyllium husks but Chitossn is good too. As for Vitex, I do believe it sways pink and can be beneficial but it can also be problematic. If you have normal, regular cycles, with 10+ day LP and O before CD20 most months, I don't think it's worth trying. For long/irregular cycles, especially with PCOS, I think it can be great.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

But Clomid/Femara sway MUCH more than Vitex and are also much more reliable/predictable, so there's really no comparison.

I have your questionnaire and will get to work on your plan right away. Your supplements will be personalized in the plan for you so don't buy anything till you get the plan.

The diet book, grocery list, etc that come with the plan should have appeared to you already in the forum, LMK if you don't see them

What do you guys think about purchasing clomid online? Do you know of any ladies who have safely purchased clomid online?

Where do you live? I can PM you info on a reliable online pharmacy. It can definitely be done but it is best to be monitored on Clomid. Femara may be a better option as it sways possibly even more and doesn't have the same risk of multiples so safer to take without dr monitoring.
