It was consistently 31-33 days this past month it was 37 days!!!!ugh that makes for a long month and makes you really want to get preggo so you don't have to wait FOREVER to try again. I'm really going to TRY to be patient and stick to my sway even if it doesn't happen first month. Both of my boys were conceived first month so that spoils you!!

I am doing one attempt shortly after first positive OPK. We usually BD every 4-5 days naturally so basically the same thing. With both of my boys I had 3-4 attempts so maybe this will be a good change along with my other sway tactics.
I feel you on that! When trying for my DS, one of my cycles was 53 days long! My cycles are still right around 30 days now because I have a short LP (10/11 days). It's definitely hard to stick with the sway, I'm already wanting to just DTD everyday to up our chances of getting pregnant and if we don't get our BFP in July or August, we're definitely going to increase our number of attempts, as I don't want DS to be too much older than baby #2.

Pinkin we should ovulate around the same time (29th-30th June). My cycles are naturally quite long too at around 33-34 days so I know how difficult the long wait is for the next attempt.

I'm struggling with the diet today too. I had cake at work earlier and then peanuts after work so that's 2 high fat/calorie snacks today. I'm finding the easiest part missing breakfast.

Is anyone else concerned about a lack of ewcm? I have had BV also before ovulation the last 2 months which I never get.

I'm not using any lubes as I figured it would reduce the chance of BFP too much. Sticking with one attempt and diet. I conceived my ds with multiple attempts.

Time goes so slowly when you are Ttc!

Yaybaby I've also been tempted to dtd more than once. I think when you know you're ovulating it feels like you're missing chances of BFP so you feel more pressured. I'm going to stick with one bd this cycle and then maybe increase it a bit next cycle although it scares me to

I know, I just keep thinking if we got at least 2 attempts in, I'll be more likely to get that BFP! I think we're pretty similar right now, July will be your third TTC month right? And it sounds like you're doing the diet and doing one attempt? That's our plan for this month (we did a few other sway tactics the last 2 months but I'm dropping them this month). Time definitely moves slowly when you're TTC! Waiting for a + opk, waiting to test, waiting for AF after your BFNs. Ughhhh.

YayBaby- I know what you mean! I did it for years TTC my second! I already know it is going to be a struggle not to BD like bunnies around O. After years of secondary infertility it is my instinct to hose that egg until it needs a life vest, lol. AF hasn't even shown yet and I am already getting anxious. We aren't technically doing one attempt, per say, we are doing every 4 days on atomic's advice (taking clomid and such). Yet I keep thinking "what if we BD and everything dies and we don't BD again (4 days later) until it's too late. Think I may need to take my anxiety meds in the days leading up to O to keep from panicking and trying to "squeeze one in" lol. Hmm.. antidepressants sway.. wonder if anti-anxiety meds do?!

Wow! All of my friends are blessed with 28 day cycles so I've always felt like the odd ball!lol The cycle I got pregnant with my second son was 51 days!! So that of course made me BD several times! Yes, the every 4 days made me feel like I might miss the egg so that's why I'm thinking one attempt right after positive opk.

I'm already feeling bloated and crampy and only on day 11 of my cycle?! I usually do not start testing until day 18-20. I went ahead and tested just to name sure! This last cycle (37 days) has screwed up my plan so wonder if I will ovulate sooner?? Oh my word!! This is too much!haha

My CM is usually pretty heavy around O so I'm anxious to see what the Zyrtec does. We plan on using sylk as a lube but hubby hates it! Hoping I can sneak it in there and he will never know!lol We used preseed with both boys so changing that this attempt as well.

So you ladies are doing diet/exercise, One attempt, what else?? (Yall may have discussed alread but I read so much I forget what I've read!)

I enjoy chatting with you girls. As much anxiety I sometimes have, a big part of me enjoys all of this researching and discussions!

I am doing the LE... with a twist (I have PCOS so steering towards whole grains instead of simple carbs) & exercise 60 mins 6x a week. Not really doing much in the way of supps. I am taking potassium(doesn't sway, I don't think) to help make sure I get enough, taking baby aspirin (not sure if this sways) to help plush up my lining after recent D&C and to hlep a bean attach as I'll also be taking clomid (50 mg CD 3-7; sways pink) which can thin the uterine lining. I am taking a large dose of folic acid due to 2 losses and it's always good to take folic if you are trying to get preg anyway. I am taking iron (not sure on sway) because I had a lot of bleeding after my D&C and getting ready for my first PP AF (which I hear can be awful after a D&C) so I want to make sure my iron levels don't plummet. I am also taking zantac for GERD and I am told it sways too. DH is taking OLE 500 mg/day.
