ELP can't wait to hear all about it!! Post pics!

Glitter when is yours, must be soon this week, here's hoping all looks just perfect :-) I was super sick with DD1 and not at all sick with DD2 ... DD1 is by far my easier child though so here's hoping it's a sign that you're having a girl who is well behaved, LOL! My DD2's easiest days were when she was in my womb ;-)

Kris I did get sick in public, it was a nightmare. I remember walking into my office building, getting on the elevator with a load of people, and as the doors were shutting I had to literally force my way out ... made it out into the street where I lost it all over the sidewalk. It was definitely one of my most embarrassing moments!

Oh that's just awful Begonia. I work in people's home with their kids (home health) and I am so scared to get sick while working with their kids I chew gum or suck on jolly ranchers. I had 2 great days and it all started up again yesterday. can't wait to enjoy this preg. I will take this sickness anyday if it means a girl LOL! Heck or even if it means a sticky bean!!!! My scan is next Tues...I will be watching for a nub!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to all for the warm welcome! Can't wait to hear everyone's updates.

My 12 week scan is next Friday, don't know what to expect. With my son I had an u/s at 13 weeks and was told "80% sure, a boy" and she was right. I hope this ultrasound tech is as good at her job as the last one was!

Oh fun, WantAnotherBoy! FX you see a nice healthy bean and boy nub again!

Glitter that would be pretty rotten to get sick around the kiddos! I'm glad you had a couple good days though, FX that means you're CLOSE to turning a corner even if today is tough. I hope you see a nice flat nub! Definitely tell us how it goes; I'll be thinking of you Tuesday!

That's amazing, I haven't heard of 80% that early. I might ask at mine in a few weeks. I s/b 13 weeks as well, according to my dates that is. GL GL!

Iluv I think particularly at 13 weeks the nubs can be very revealing! From what I've read around 11-12 weeks, a "girl" looking flat nub might still rise (so possibly might mistake a boy for a girl), but in general, if the nub is angling up you've got VERY good odds that it is in fact a boy.

My morning sickness has gotten much worse, the Maxalon doesn't work any more. I'm throwing up every morning and night and fighting the urge all day! I'm even loosing weight, good in a way but it's not really what should be happening. The strangest things make me gag, a yellow bucket.....I think because it reminds me of pee lol the black bucket I am fine with. Our bathroom and bedroom also make me gag, I think it's because that is where I am when I'm feeling sick the most. Can hardly brush my teeth, my tongue is almost impossible most days. I was throwing up in the backyard yesterday, the neighbour was out so that was embarrassing! I can't eat much at all, no point having breakfast until after I throw up cos I just know it is gonna happen. I do feel a little better once I vomit, it's just bad cos in the morning it's yellow bile coming up....yuck!!
Anyway other than that all is well, got my NT scan on the 19th, and an appt with my Ob on the 12th

Kris, the best thing I can recommend is acupuncture. Its sooo helpful! There are other natural remedies but might even be cheaper than those meds you were taking Sometimes they have a 1st time fee that's more expensive but it's worth checking out for sure.

Also try eating really bland food every hour or two like crackers, toast etc. So sorry!!!!!

Oooohhh! I'll have to ask. hopefully the U/S tech will be extra friendly to us.
