Worst day possible. They messed up with my order for my glucose test and the lab they normally send us to was closed for the freaking 4th of july on the freaking 3rd of july... Like wtf.. Another lab in the hospital was willing to do it but there was no freaking order in the system for me to have on i was so cheesed off tried to call dr office and they too were closed the 3rd of freaking july. Wtf!!!
Now i get to take my test monday. Freaking BS. replace "freaking" with another colorful F word and you have my favorite word of the day... Also.. SON OF A.... grrrrrrr

I swear that could be the 3D shot of my 2D 20 week scan which both the tech and many others swear is a girl so id say girl... if you have any other 2D potty shots from 16 weeks+ we could maybe get a better idea off of those. I see 3 lines after all...even if i would swear up and down that i see a penis too

Sorry Bura that's rough lady. How could they not think that one through a little better? !
2boys- so sorry to hear about your mom. I am hoping things aren't as bad as they seem. I can relate to some of the way you feel. My mom will have been gone for 10 yrs come sept. It is UNBELIEVABLLY hard that she has missed so much in my life. She will never hold her grand kids or babysit them or be with me in the delivery room. It's hard to not have her to hug and just talk with. No matter what all any of us have is right now. So take advantage of the time you have with everyone you love. This perspective is good reminder for us all! Hugs lady!EmJ

I have more of an observation to report and I am wondering if any of you have experienced this. Since we've found out its a girl and are telling people, the reactions are shocking to me. Everyone that asks including minor acquaintances and strangers (all women) are far more excited that I am having a girl than they ever were when I would say boy. I mean people are ecstatic for me, hugging me even. I didn't have those reactions when I was pregnant with either boy. It's strange and it irks me! Reminding me to be extra sensitive and mindful of what I say to others when they tell me what they're having.
It really does seem like a majority of women have a girl preference. Which I suppose I did/do too since I'm here. I am, however, so much more aware of what my boys have brought to my life and taught me. I am so grateful for them. They have truly shaped and changed me and my way of thinking in general and especially about what raising boys means to me and us as a family.
Has anyone else experienced this over joy from random ladies when you say 'girl'?EmJ

Emj....i obviously havent personally experienced it but i see it. It is somsad to me. I hate people and the way they act about so many things. I have heard so many apologies and oh i feel so sorry for yous about having 3 boys. I am starting to actually tell people to f**k off if they comment like that...ive become rageful and hurt by it all. Had enough of it. If i have a girl i hope to not hear any lame comments like oh finally or you are so lucky to get your girl...yuck.

EMJ just crashing in to say ' totally'!! I get quite angry about some of the comments I have received. It is hard to shrug it off. I treat her no different to the boys and don't even dress her very girly. It's so nice that we all 'get' it!!! Xxx
