Hi
Has anyone found their O to come early while taking B6 50mg or in a B-complex??
I have a LP of 11 days which is borderline but i have long cycles...I O only after cd23 and as late as cd40. I heard that too much estrogen can delay O and also estrogen build up reduces progesterone production.
B6 can help and so i am planning to take it. Was concerned abt it being girl supp. But seems that it should be OK now.
Anyone with a Boy sway or Boy moms who took B6 or B-complex and good results?

I don't know but it seems like something LolaInLove might know the answer to! Maybe catch up with her on the TTC blue thread in case she hasn't read this? I hope you don't mind Lola! GL x

donīt want to create confusion but I thought a LACK of estrogen can cause O to delay?
B6 can make your LP longer but I donīt know if it will make you O earlier.
From what I know, B6 used to be a pink supplement, but isnīt anymore because it is thought it caused opposites.
Reading your link makes me think I should take Zinc, is it a boy supplement?

Ha, Zan, I told Cemas to post because I am not sure and hoped Atomic might have a good answer! I do agree with Indira, though, I think a rise in estrogen makes you O sooner. I think B6 increases both estrogen and progesterone....I know it increases progesterone production. Pretty sure, at least. I think that was always the reason it was deemed to sway pink was because of the rise in E and P, they thought it decreased T, know what I mean?
Regardless, Cemas, I think you should try it and see what happens. In fact, I think you should think about Vitex also....which I know is touted to be a pink swaying supp also, but it is the KING of cycle regulators. You are in the same boat as me, hun, which is about getting pregnant first and putting worries about things that sway second. At least, that is my opinion....I know you are still pretty into swaying, which I have not forsaken, but I am taking Clomid and dtd every other day, which is iffy on whether it sways boy or girl. I know Clomid is supposed to sway girl if it affects your cm, which I can't tell if it does mine or not. Anyway, you need to A) regulate your cycle with or without B) jumpstarting ovulation. I know of a couple of ladies who conceive with long cycles, but it isn't easy for them, and you've been at this a long time, so I think it's time to try something else.

YES! I want to put your mind at ease regarding B6. I was taking 100 mg B6 when I was swaying and I ended up conceiving for sure one boy and probably two while on it (I lost a twin, but he was a placenta previa which is usually boys.) I think nutrients across the boards sway blue, not pink.
A-Gender has dropped B6 as part of their swaying supplements becasue they also believed it was causing opposites.
I read your link and there was a few bits of misinformation on there, so be sure to doublecheck any advice you take from that person.
In most cases, too much estrogen does NOT delay O. Not enough estrogen delays O. Your body waits until it has enough estrogen, because estrogen triggers the LH surge that releases the egg and estrogen also makes the uterine lining lush for the fertilized egg to implant into.!!!
