Welcome, maybeoneday
Z, fx for you now, come on bfp!!!!
Mocha, sorry I keep worrying you! I think everyone reacts differently to things so I'm sure you're fine on the vitex. That's why thus swaying is soooo hard as it's not a one size fits all thing!

I've tried to post about temping here twice... my cycles are unpredictable and I find it very stressful not knowing what's going on and when/if I've ov'ed.
Zana when I was TTC for the first time (before my MC) I tried temping and found that incredibly stressful too. I'd wake up before the alarm earlier and earlier each day from the anxiety of having to do the temp, and then spend hours poring over the chart trying to figure it out and comparing it to other charts. I gave up temping after a couple of cycles. However I'm now temping again and actually it is LESS stressful temping than it is not knowing. Perhaps it's because we're not TTC yet, perhaps because I'm more experienced at reading charts now... not sure, but I'll be carrying on when we do start TTC as it seems like a very easy thing to do to get good reassurance that OV is happening. Hopefully I can find out exactly how long my new luteal phase is this cycle (I suspect it was 4 days last cycle)

This past month I found it comforting to have temps to back up my thoughts about when O had happened. I found I was always second-guessing myself, so it was nice to see FF agree with my opinion. I may or may not temp after O this month, though - it's sad when your temps get your hopes up and you end up with a BFN.
Oh, and swish - I'm just a worry wart by nature, so I'll find something to worry about with or without your help!

I'm pleased the temping is working out for you this time rainbow (and isn't too stressful!). I did buy the stuff to temp this time around but I hated doing it and I kept forgetting to leave a pencil buy my bed or I got up for the loo 20 times in the night ... and even using OPKs is more than I've ever done in the past! I get very extreme ovulation pains so I always know more or less when I've ovulated - or at least that I have ovulated even if I'm not sure which pain means what!

Ladies, I need your advice please!
DH wants to DTD again tonight (sheesh!) and my first reaction was no because we already did it this morning and I only wanted one attempt to make sure 'my' sperm count was low. However - if I've already ovulated (and I'm sure I have because my OPK was negative this afternoon and my cervix is now low and I have those pains) will the sperm from this morning already have reached the egg (if they're going to at all) or at least cap(whatever)ated and be on their way? Chances are my egg is either fertilised or dead by now - but if it's neither then am I increasing 'my' sperm count by DTD again tonight? What happens to the sperm when the egg dies, do they instantly die too? Could it be that I only have a few sperm there now and they're 'working on it' but by introducing some new sperm I'm upping the count and giving the boys a better chance? Does that even make sense?!2005

I don't have any answers for you - I just have to say WOW about your dh. Didn't you say he's been releasing twice a day since af?? And he STILL has the energy for more??
I suppose it's different for you because he's been taking care of himself (soooo jealous about that, btw), but I always declare the week after O as a penis free week. I need a break after all that BD, even if he doesn't!

Thanks Lola - sending a whole bunch of blue dust back to you guys!
I can't believe he wants to do it again either mocha! He's taken care of himself most of the time but I've assisted on occasion and we've DTD with a condom but, yes, I'm glad not to have had to do it every day (or twice a day!) too! Yesterday he released 3 times, with the final time being our attempt, and he did struggle to 'finish' so I don't think we'll do that if we have to try again next month. Twice is plenty lol!2005

Ugh! I just realised that our trip to my Mom's house this weekend is going to mean yet another weekend of meal stress. There will be family members coming and going all weekend, tons of meat will be eaten, and everyone's already going to be noticing how much weight I've lost (many haven't seen me in many months). I hate the stress I experience at every meal in a situation like that. Luckily, I have an ally in my Mom, but she can only do so much. I can easily have a girl-friendly lunch every day since we all tend to do our own thing at lunch, but dinner will likely consist of BBQ meat every night. O is still a week away, but I'd still rather not have any major cheats like meat, but at the same time I'm running out of tricks, lies and excuses for not partaking in the family meal. We're there for 4 nights, so that's a lot of meals I have to get out of somehow. Sigh. I am soooo ready for all this swaying stuff to be done.
