Ash and mommymachine, light spotting can be a normal sign of pregnancy with all the extra bloodflow going on down there. I hope it stops for both of you soon and you can relax and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy.
My dizziness seems to be gone this morning so maybe I was just overtired. We have evicted DS from the cot by converting it into a bed for a few months before moving him into a proper bed and I have not been going into a deep sleep because I an listening out for him at night.
I can't wait for my 1st scan either to check that this little one is doing ok. 3 weeks wait for me 6th AugDDChristmas 2010

Thread crashing! I just want to say huge congrats to all of you ladies [emoji4]!
Ash and Mommy- I had this too, except mine was bright red spot (5cm in diameter) and only on my panty liner. When wiping, it was orangish pink. I also had Braxton hicks contractions too, but I thought it was just a growth spurt, because I get them in all of my pregnancies as my belly gets bigger. It lasted for a week starting at 4 weeks. It stopped, then came back a week and a half later at 5.5 weeks but was pink only when wiping. At my first US at 6.5 weeks, I was diagnosed with a subchorionic bleed that was only 1cm in diameter (super small). This happens when the the bean gets a really good supply on or near a larger blood vessel when implanting. As the embryo gets bigger, it can aggravate it and cause it to ooze until the scab falls off completely as the placenta gets bigger. This does NOT cause a miscarriage unless it is super large. The ones that are super large cause a lot of spotting or bleeding- NOT what you ladies are mentioning.
I was told this is very common and nothing to worry about. Think of it as your bean snuggling in SUPER tight [emoji6]!
Hang in there! I remember being on pins and needles. I wish I had someone to explain all of this to me while I was experiencing it instead of after the fact like my OB did.
Big hugs, [emoji8]!
