Okay. Great. Thank you again. Gonna try and go to bed a little earlier tonight. Hubby's on the 2 to 2 shift and I can't wait up like I have been.

I think any prenatal will do. Try to steer clear of the ones with superdoses of individual vitamins. The Kirkland prenatal (Costco) looks to have everything you need and its inexpensive to boot.

Hardly anyone is cutting calcium out any more. Most of us have dropped the mineral stuff from the sway. WE were trying to include in the very early days of the site but then our research and experience showed that it just wasn't working so most people moved beyond it. As it turns out, the best study ever done on maternal diet and gender conceived showed higher cal intake in moms that went on to conceive boys.

I got 2 boys taking Women's One a Day plus calcium (and with my 4th I was taking extra calcium) so that is what I have been recommending to people (it's cheap and easily affordable) with great results. But any vitamin that is 100% DRV of most nutrients (can go up to 1000 IU Vit. D) is fine.

No unicorn root, it has gone practically extinct in the wild and whatever they are selling marked "false unicorn root" is some weird herb from China.

I love cheese like something serious and craved orange juice in the months leading up to ttc.

We're wanting to try my august cycle which should start on the 26th.

Congrats to you too!! Good luck.
It was an old theory that many people still believe in but both research and experience are not bearing it out. There were too many of us out there who got boys drinking tons of dairy. I got my 4th boy with a failed sway where I was taking gobs of calcium, then cut it out (both me and DH barely having any dairy) and finally got our girl without calcium or dairy.

When you cut back on calcium, all that happens is your body just takes it from your bones and teeth. The levels in your body never change and in fact cannot change (because you die!) So the claims of the mineral diets cannot be true.

It is just a teeny amount and not the type of soy that sways pink. Has to be a significant amount of soy that contains soy protein and isoflavones, not a bit of soy oil or soy lecithin
