I'm so sorry for your sisterHow horrible to lose both of her babies.
I hope that she conceives easily on the next cycle.
I understand exactly what you mean about perspective. My SIL cannot have children and she just finished adopting their son, internationally. It took years, there was lots of heartache but he's finally with them. I feel so blessed to be able to have children so easily...I know that but I still can't get past not having a daughter. I, too, feel that if this baby is a boy I most likely won't feel "done". I'm terrified that I'm going to get my hubby to try "one more time" and end up with a fifth boy. I think I may have to draw the line at 4 for my sanity and future career path. It makes me sad just thinking about that. I am already convinced that this little baby is a boy.
Thanks AS.....it does.![]()

Thanks guys for the input on cramping. AS- read your post and it does sound like exactly the same type of pain, aching feeling. Btw GD sucks big time. I am praying I can just focus on enjoying what may be my last pregnancy and just be thankful for it.
DM- I know how you feel about trying to convince hubby he was DONE at 2. DS2 happened sooner than we thought. I told him before I got pregnant that I wanted to see if there was anything we could do to increase our chances of having a girl. He would not consider it. DS3 was not planned. This time he says if it is another boy he does not want anymore. I tried looking at some boy names today to change my mindset.now to get up the nerve to tell people after all the compliments on my rapid 37 lb weight loss. I know the comments about another boy will be another hurdle in this pregnancy. You can't go anywhere with 2 or more of the same gender once you are showing without peoples comments. I think I need to come up with a good non-snarky comment in case I hear it once I tell people I am pregnant. I should not have to think about it, but better to be prepared I think. Got any suggestions?

"4 of a kind is a winning hand!!"
"I'm a specialist."
"The world needs another generation of good men, I'm just doing my part."
"If you do something this well, you want to do it again and again!"
"We're starting a band, ya know, like the Jacksons/Osmonds/the Beach Boys/Hansons/Jonas Brothers" (depending on who you're talking to!!)
"When I was growing up, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was my favorite movie."
"Having 7 sons is considered super lucky. That's what we're trying for."
"Did you know Ryan Reynolds (Alec Baldwin, Matthew McConnehay (sp???), Payton and Eli Manning, Owen and Luke Wilson, Wyatt Earp, Dr. Christian Barnard, Dr. Jonas Salk, Joss Whedon, Presidents Nixon and Eisenhower, etc) is from a family of 3,4,5, 7 boys??"
And even though I don't like this one because it seems derogatory to the pink mamas and makes boys sound like sex maniacs, it does usu. get a laugh. "When you have a boy, you only need to worry about one penis, with a girl you have to worry about all of them."!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
