    EasyDna - my bad experience

    i paid for a baby gender test on the 11th june with EasyDna. i paid EUR229.00 on this date. I did the test after 9 weeks and had a loss at 10 weeks.

    i emailed them on the 3rd of july looking for the result of my baby gender test (just interested as i hadn't heard a word from them since i sent off my test (12th june)). i sent my blood sample in a self-addressed envelope at the post office so it could not have not got lost in the post.

    not a word have i heard from them - only a receipt for my EUR229.00

    i am currently 4 weeks pregnant again thanks be to God and just wanted to tell people of my experience with Easy Dna.

    Sorry for your loss. Congrats on the new lil bean. Thank you for sharing. Hope they do finally contact you. I just read about test they can do at 10 weeks testing for downs, ect. But also can tell gender and your insurance should cover that.

    also i found it strange that the instruction leaflet which accompanied the test instructed to fill 3 circles with client's blood.

    there was only one circle with the kit.

    i rang easy dna in ireland with the one or three circle of blood dilemma and the receptionist said someone would ring me back. i got a return call later that day and a gentleman from EasyDna (don't know who he was) said there was only one circle to fill. strange mistake for such a high tech test, i thought.

    anyways i wonder will i ever get an email from them. they had no problem taking 229 euros from me though!

    I think it's best to use the newer tests that are done in the lab but yes I find that all dreadfully unprofessional and I hope you get an answer from them or a refund.

    We would firstly like to offer you our condolences for your loss.

    We have checked your case on our system and we can confirm that your results were first sent to you on the 26th June 2015.

    From reading your review it appears that you also did not receive our email sent on 11th June 2015 confirming receipt of your order or the one sent on 17th June confirming that we had received your samples and advising you that your results would be issued on 29th June.

    We did not receive any error messages and assumed you had received our emails. Maybe they went into spam as this often happens with Hotmail addresses?

    We did not receive your email of 3rd July 2015 although your phone call of 24th August and subsequent email of 25th August stated that your previous email had been sent to our payment gateway provider which is why we did not receive it.

    We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused but can confirm that we issued email updates at every point in the process and as we did not hear from you for such a long time in each instance we always assumed you had received them. We have checked that your email address was correct and cannot explain why you did not receive any of our messages.

    It is disappointing that you chose to leave this review a month before you called us as when you finally alerted us that there was an issue we resolved it for you immediately and you confirmed receipt of your results the same day.

    We take pride in our excellent customer service and would urge any other clients reading this who have not received updates or results from us to please contact us via phone, online chat or email so we can resolve it for you immediately.     Thanks for this update.

    I have no vested interest in this company or any other but I have also had a lot of chronic issues with Hotmail email systems. Cannot say if this is true or not (from either end) just that I too have experienced a lot of trouble with Hotmail users not getting emails from me (and not only business related, even personal emails)
