    Hi Girls

Would love to join you here as I find the diet REALLY hard! In fact, I have only been cutting meat, reducing portions, cutting snacks and missing breakfast until now but my first attempt is only about 5 weeks away so feel I really need to step it up a notch......

UNTIL...... I ate sausages and had wine for lunch! I am now feeling really guilty.

I just can't say no to sausages! - It really is no surprise I have 2 boys

Feel better for confessing my guilty sin and will try harder tomorrow!

    x

    oh, I love sausages too...

also not a good day here for me

breakfast (well, 10am) - a row of Galaxy chocolate

lunch - chicken tikka and white rice - we were out for lunch in a supermarket cafe and they literally had NOTHING I could eat! wish I'd been more organised now and taken something before I left, but my DH was rushing me out of the door

tea - white pitta, cucumber, radish, Shape toffee pudding

supper - nothing yet, I might have some more chocolate in a bit, though lol

    Hi all, welcome maybeoneday!!
    Here's today..
    No breakfast
    12 - 2 meringues, go ahead bar
2 - little antipasti, spinach and ricotta cannelloni, 1 piece of walnut bread, ice cream ( the cannelloni was going to be a small portion but it was too yummy!)
I'm still full but have just had rice with salad and balsamic and olive oil and a meringue (I am obsessed with meringues!!!!)
is that a bad day or not too bad, I'm not sure!

Almost all my family has now joined us at my Mom's place, and there've been a lot of gasps and comments about how much weight I've lost. I thought of a great explanation, though - I just said that when my older boys weaned themselves I gained a lot of weight (which is true), so this time when ds3 started to wean himself I decided to watch what I eat very carefully so I wouldn't gain weight, and as a result I lost weight instead. I also made sure to eat an Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookie today in front of everyone (my niece made them) - I figure no one would think I'm anorexic if they saw me eat something so decadent!

Sorry you're having to come up with excuses mocha - this month has to be your month! Do you expect to O this week?

I went for Tutti Fruttis for my 'snack' because I didn't fancy anything else - now it's bedtime and I'm starving! Here's hoping I can stave it off with coffee in the morning ...

I expect to O on Friday or Saturday. We're going home on Tuesday, so hopefully that's enough days before O for me to crack down again on the diet after so much weekend cheating. I think we're also going to have to do the compressed frequent BD when we get home because we skipped last night and tonight all 3 ds's are going to be sleeping in our room!

I don't blame you, better than stressing about fitting it in while you're away!

Wow - another bad cheat day yesterday:

    7am: coffee
12pm: rice with balsamic, apple, 1/2 an Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookie (as decadent as it sounds), tiramisu
5pm: curd cheese, cucumber (I was hungry, but I definitely shouldn't have had any cheese considering what I was about to have for supper)
6:30pm: 2.5 slices of very cheesy (and delicious) pizza, more tiramisu
    10pm: apple

My calories ended up within limits, but my protein and sodium were through the roof with all the cheese on that pizza. Only one more supper here and many of the guests have gone home, so hopefully I can have a more normal day today.

mocha - I too have had a day where calories are fine but protein and sodium are not!

I went to DS2's leaving BBQ at the childminder's and she did me a vegeburger - I saw the brand and looked up the nutritional content when I got home and it had almost 24g of protein and 500mg sodium (before the bread roll and ketchup!). Oh well, I did my best (and it did really fill me up!).

Weigh in day tomorrow, really hoping for a couple of pounds this month. FX!!

    Hi ladies!
I'm still not back to my previous saintly sway diet even though I've put on 5 pounds now!! I'm used to eating more and I get hungry and snack! Just had some artichokes and tomatoes left from yesterday, yum!
Mocha, sounds like you did ok under the circumstances, it makes me sad to go to planned events at the moment as i thought I'd by pregnant by now and I've only had 2 attempts!!!
    Z, fx for weight loss!
