What is Pregnitude? I believe the stats I saw on here 5/6 people had success conceiving a girl while taking it. That's a great percentage but the numbers are really low for reliable stats. Anyone have an experience/more info on girl swaying including Pregnitude? Is it safe to take during the 2ww and/or during pregnancy?

It's not recommended for everyone and can do more harm than good.

Ok. From what I had read about it, it was to increase egg quality? I wondered how that was supposed to factor into a pink sway if we're trying to decrease fertility...

I think egg quality applies to older moms. Also moms who have lots of weight to lose and blood sugar or pcos issues the benefit outweighs the fact Pregnitude has B vitamins which sway blue.Hopefully you will get more responses to help clarify.

It is only for people with a whole lot of weight to lose, or who are trying to come off Metformin naturally, or who have severe PCOS.
Not everything in the stats is meant for everyone to use.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Doesn't it lower androgens? Wouldn't that sway pink because it's lowering testosterone?

PLEASE only take this if you have been diagnosed with PCOS and do NOT take this for swaying purposes or for any other reason!!! This supplement seems like it would help everyone but it can totally wreck your cycle and cause fertility problems! PLEASE, I beg of you to not make the same mistake I did- read on.
I took myoinositol (the active ingredient in Pregnitude) for years for a seizure disorder that I had. When I began to TTC in June 2014, I read a study suggesting that this helped with egg quality and helped to lower blood sugar in women with insulin resistance and who were older than 30. I thought great, this is perfect for me! So I upped my dose from 500mg twice a day to taking the suggested dose in the study of 2000mg twice a day through taking Pregnitude. My cycles began to get wonky, and I didn't think much about it at the time, since DS2 had begun to wean himself. After five months of actively TTCing, I made an appointment with an RE because my cycles had become very strange (I didn't put two and two together yet, I'm dense [emoji6]).
Long story short, my FSH was sky high, 45, and my AMH wasn't even detected! I had to take Vitamin D, Zinc, and Coq10, and when that didn't work I went on Atomic's fertility diet and added acupuncture to the mix. I did more research and found out that the mechanism of which myoinositol (Pregnitude) works to regulate ovulation in women with insulin resistance and PCOS (these women often ovulate very irregularly) is by increasing FSH! If women with normal cycles take this in the suggested amount, it will wreck havoc on your hormones!!
PLEASE only take this if you have PCOS, your doctor has recommended you take it, or Atomic feels it is necessary! I don't want anyone to go through what I went through!! It ended up taking us 8 months and 9 cycles to get pregnant, plus I had too take things to improve my fertility!
Sorry for the long post!

We don't even KNOW that androgens or testosterone even sway. It's just a hypothesis with little data to back it up (the studies that claim that it does are results from a self-reported personality test and NOT blood tests!!)
We are already doing tons of things to lower androgens and testosterone. That's what the diet itself is about. Please let's leave this for PCOSers only becasue the rest of us do not need it.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
