I wish I could be productive during the 2ww. I'll start something and then stop to look something up. It's getting annoying and it's only our first month! I go back to work in September and that will at least help me fill my days.

Maybe you could keep a note pad next to you so if you think of something you right it down. Then you aren't so much obsessing as you are looking up questions... AND you are getting things done AND making time pass faster... Just a thought

I actually got off here and got my butt to work on some things around the house. It felt good! It reminded me that I don't need to freak out this 2ww. I most likely have a few more ahead of me and googling "sore ovary on 7 dpo" isn't going to give me any factual information. Thanks for the notepad idea!

I also realized that this is my first 2ww since my last dd so I forgot about the crazy feelings.

My kids are characters, lol. I had some ingredients I needed to use so I made something my mom liked to make. She called it "refrigerator roundup". Basically it is rice, cheese, mixed veggies, cream of chicken soup and turkey or chicken. To listen to them talk you'd think I fed them ice cream for dinner My oldest even said "this is better than chocolate!!" and "This is too good to not have seconds!". Meanwhile, my youngest was saying "yeah!" and shouting "CHEEEESE!!" To give you some idea of why this is so funny to me- my oldest is CRAZY picky! He was 5 before we were able to get him to eat a hot dog... most kids would live on hot dogs if you'd let them. So, it's incredibly rare to get him to say he likes something at all... much less act like it is the best thing since sliced bread! I've been told I need to make it more often Attachment 26698

lol Twointow kids!!! My eldest is picky too and he'll say 'I dont like it' to anything I dish up unless it's packet pasta or two minute noodles. Most times I bribe him to take a bite and he's like 'I like it!!' lol. Your refridgerator roundup sounds delicious! Might have to try it out!

Thanks, can't take credit on the recipe though. I tweaked it to fit the ingredients I had to use but mostly it was her that came up with it (as far as I know anyway). I occasionally bribe my oldest to try something too. He either spits it out or will give a hum-drum "it's good" but will never eat another bite most of the time. We did get him to try the clams from long john silver's once and to our shock and amazement he loved them and still loves them. My youngest is a blessing, food wise (they are both blessings in general, of course) because he hasn't met a food he didn't like lol. How many 5 year olds do you know that love Brussels sprouts? Mine does! I have always wondered if it has anything to do with the fact that my youngest was nursed (different flavors each meal) and my oldest was bottle fed (same flavor all the time). BUT both are autistic and my oldest is sensory avoiding and my youngest is sensory seeking so that probably plays a bigger role than how they were fed the first few months of their lives. My hubby on the other hand is convinced that it's because of how they were fed so he expects me to nurse again this time. Not that I mind... I just hope the next one isn't like my youngest was! For 6 excruciatingly long weeks I had to nurse him around the clock (not every couple hours around the clock... literally non-stop. I had to either let him scream or take him with me and nurse him while using the restroom for crying out loud lol). Finally my lactation consultant suggested that he was probably a "snacker" (eating little at a time, never getting full, etc.) and suggested how to fix it and it worked. Don't want to go through THAT again, but at least this time I know what to do so it doesn't last so long!

I really hope I get a bfp this month as the last five days have been pretty much open season on the diet. Think the only le thing I've stuck to is skipping breakfast!! Eeekk!! Haven't monitored anything on mfp as I don't want to know how much over I've been lol
