Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

Major changes were skipping breakfast, less red meat and protein than usual. I was also consuming much lower calories than when I conceived my boys.

What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?

BMI 21.5 (54kg/119lbs)

Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?

I completely gave up exercise and went couch potato. This was a big change for me as I have always exercised regularly with a mix of cardio and weights. I was almost at my lowest adult weight and definitely lower than when I conceived my boys. DH also gave up exercise and he was at his highest adult weight!

1 attempt at positive OPK which I think was about 1 day before O. DH took a hot shower before attempt. I had used rephresh and sylk in previous months but gave these up when I wasn't getting pregnant.

I was taking calcium, magnesium, saw palmetto and cranberry for several months but had given all these up the month before our successful attempt. DH and I were both sick leading up to O so we had been taking some antihistamines and aspirin that week but we had finished these a few days before.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

Length of time on diet and a different lifestyle in general to my past conceptions. Maternal age, illness leading up to O and sticking to 1 attempt.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

The month of BFP my cheat days on the diet got worse and I put on 1kg/2lbs in the lead up. Hopefully the length of time on diet overall will compensate for this! Also I had the big O (oops!).

Things worth mentioning:

I started out swaying with lots of tactics (supps, gels, j&d etc) but by the time I got my BFP I had dropped everything except diet and 1 attempt.

Due 10th May. I'm already 7 weeks but wanted to wait for my dating scan today before I posted this. We could see a nice strong healthy heartbeat on the screen so fingers crossed it sticks!

Just got confirmed CVS results - I'm growing a healthy baby girl!!!
