    I need uplifted...

My husband and I have gotten pregnant both times easily with our boys: DS1 2-3 mos & DS2 first month.

I took a test today at 9 dpo and bfn.

This was our third month ttc, so next month will be month 4. I can only really blame swaying girl on the first month bc I think I killed everything with sylk. But the past two months I've had 3 attempts/no lube and 2 attempts/preseed this month.

Anyway, all of that to ask... How long did it take yall to conceive? Anyone have any similar experiences?

I think I read that some girls took around 6 months. It'll happen soon, I think it feels like forever because you conceived your boys so fast. Hang in there x

I don't know if I conceived a girl or not, but it took me 11 months! I don't think it will take you that long at all - hang in there! Plus, a BFN at 9dpo is really early - I would wait a few days and re-test. Your chart looks good!

Thanks girls! I am so happy for you Taytum! I know I'm being dramatic but when you think you're timing and doing everything right it gets disheartening. I will definitely test again on Monday. Guess I'm mentally preparing for the worst.

We will get DH tested in November (he has varcocele, so we will make sure it hasn't diminished his sperm count) then I will go for testing after that. Ugh! Let's just pray it doesn't have to go that far!

    Anyway, thanks again girls.

You're not being dramatic, you're right - you can seriously time it PERFECTLY and still end up with nothing!! It's so frustrating!! Hang in there - you'll catch the egg!

It takes fully fertile couples doing nothing to sway, an average of 3-6 months to get pregnant.

In our sway stats it's about 3 months on average for our swayers to get pregnant.

I'm right there with you. We got pregnant with our son by accident. I remember muttering the words, "You know, I might be ovulating . . . " but we'd read so much about how it takes couples our age months to get pregnant, we just went ahead. Three weeks later, there we were. This time, it's proving to be much harder. AF showed up this morning, and this was our second month ttc. It's frustrating. It also makes me realize how amazing it is that we got our sweet boy at all. Everything has to go right. Time for month #3.

2 months TTC is not "much harder"! Please don't think that it is. Fully fertile couples doing nothing to sway, everything to get pregnant take an average of 3-6 months to get pregnant. Please don't get frustrated just yet, you have not even begun to fight!

I know you're feelings at least. My first took 6 months as we weren't truly timing or anything, 2nd took 2 months, and 3rd and 4th took one month. I stopped my birth control in April and we have been trying since then. This past month was my first time using OPKs and we attempted at first OPK and still nothing. It is difficult but I just hold out hope that maybe since it isn't "easy" this time will give me a better shot at a girl. Try not to get down momma, I know that's easier said than done.
