Keshet-- havent heard from you after your last post about induction...hoping you and baby are doing alright...


This is how i spent my saturday night...no baby by the way...these did nothing to my cervix and nothing to my cervix = no c section. Yeah, double peak contractions that close together and absolutely nothing to show for it apparently per my nurses...but alright. 2 hours of contractions like that before they sent me home...still having them by the way. They did mention if my uterus kept that up i was at risk to bleed out during surgery or regular delivery didnt matter which.

C section is this friday...ive given up thinking this baby will be here before then...i'll be curious to know how she was positioned, if her chord was around her in a funny way or how big she is as she is still -2 station even with those contractions...i dunno im just a 'stupid mom' but something tells me that doesnt seem quite right..at least her heart stayed within normal range though there was alot of decel's with those double peaks that scared me regardless.

Burakoam, It's almost Friday!!! Those monitors often cause a lot of unnecessary worry and as a nurse I can tell you that decels are normal as long as baby recovers quickly. It's almost Friday- soon it will be over. Take care til then ...I wish you a speedy recovery

I have had my baby girl. I'm very happy but I must say that so far it really feels the same as with the boys. I love her in the exact same way and most of the time I forget she is a girl. What I'm mostly glad about is that I'm done having babies

I am happy to report that my induction went well.
Baby is healthy and just so happens to be a GIRL!!!!! I had been on team green. I didn't sway. She is the result of a medicated cycle with no gender selection. I didn't think that it was possible for us to make girls. I was sure that she would be a boy.

She is delightful! She is very very small and not latching and I am exhausted but so thrilled to have my healthy little girl.

OMG Keshet after your HT no transfer and then conceiving without IVF/PGD at what 42 and to get your DAUGHTER! This is a true MIRACLE! ENJOY every minute with your baby girl!
