Document everything and get as many hard copies of paperwork as you can. (subtly without being very obvious) I would be consulting a lawyer. This really seems beyond the pale to me.

I don't want to sue. I know it's my right but unless this baby makes it and needs major care (which cost... a lot) I don't really want to punish a good doctor. He definitely screwed up here by trusting another doctor's report instead of granting my request for an additional u/s but I am just not the type to sue. I don't know... I just want to let this play out or come to an end... whatever the future holds. No amount of money is going to make it hurt less and it just feels like it's not worth it (added stress, etc.). I just want it to stop hurting and money can't buy me that.

I'm not a sue-happy type either and would do exactly the same thing in your position. But while I did not want to spell this out originally for risk of upsetting you, that was what was in the back of my mind (future medical expenses) You may only have this one chance to get documentation and so if you can snag any copies of anything it may be a good move just in case this does end up costing you guys more than you may be able to afford.

It was perfect, bluebooties! Baby was measuring at 7w5d, which is two days ahead of what I had! And heartbeat was 153!

Yolk sac was on the left...maybe that means a little boy!

But as our first, I really just can't stop staring at our pictures. At this point, I don't even care if it's pink or blue!
