I think the only reason I got pregnant with this baby is because I got a shot of progesterone to help start my period and 2 weeks later got a positive pregnancy test instead. After this baby should I get on birth control and then buy the plan once I start my period or should I buy the plan and start following it for a girl after my son is born? We are scared to waste too much time because it took us over a year for a BFP and we want our babies close together.
You can get pregnant again and have a girl paiger. It can happen. We have really good results for our PCOS ladies and pink sways.

Can you get Clomid?? Clomid is great for pink swyas and PCOS.

I wouldn't have you go on birth control unless you want it for, well, birth control, LOL. If you want your babies close together I would start TTC right away and see what happens, that way you won't have the time pressure on yourself (say you waited for a year and then TTC and hoped to have 15 months between - you'd feel a lot more pressure in that case) I think Clomid will be our best bet but that may be up to your doc, to some extent. we can work around it either way.

    Will you be nursing??

PLEASE don't worry, you are going to love being a mom to your little guy. We have had lots of members who had strong GD with their first and there has never been one who didn't fall head over heels when he/she arrived.

I will have to ask my doctor about the Clomid after my son is born. I am not sure she will until I have been trying for a period of time first. That would be great if she would prescribe it before then though.

I do plan on nursing which I know can hold your period/ovulation off for awhile.

I am having trouble deciding when a good time to buy the plan would be considering I need to be doing it for at least 6 weeks before we start officially trying for a girl. Also since I still have 11 weeks left in this pregnancy and we don't know when my period will come back.

Thank you, I know I will love him more than anything and I hate that I have struggled with GD.

We all do!! No one asks to have GD at all and I think you gals who have it with the first pregnancy have it the roughest because you haven't even gotten to experience the joy of a pregnancy without GD even one time. It's going to be totally awesome though.

If you have PCOS diagnosed and it took you over a year for your first baby, you should be given Clomid. You shouldn't have to try for X number of months because it's medically indicated for you. Now that having been said, some doctors are butts about giving Clomid to people who need it, but there is nothing better for helping PCOSers conceive.

I have a diet that you can do after baby comes that will help with your PCOS and also may sway pink. It's called "atomic fertility diet" and while you were nursing you would eat upper limits of protein, fat, and cals. It is in this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html there is also a PCOS sway diet that is very easy to follow but that would not be enough nutrients while nursing and that soon postpartum, so I'd want you on the AFD with the version for pink swayers that are going HT - even though you aren't going HT I think that's the best version for you.
