Soy day in and day out may screw up estrogen but that's not how you should take it. You should take it CD 3-7 of the cycle you intend to get pregnant (don't take it in advance of tTC) and then STOP taking it after that. Just 5 days. I would do 100 mg isoflavones.
People present with all kinds of estrogen situations with PCOS. Both high testosterone and low estrogen can cause long cycles so it's hard to know without bloodwork. I don't think we need to know, just treat the problem.
I like Clomid and Femara both better than soy, but if you can't get them than the soy is anooption.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

As a general rule it takes more than one thing in isolation to diagnose PCOS, but it is posible to have tendencies that way without having it full blown. It doesn't hurt anything to operate under the assumption of having it and take precautions in terms of diet and exercise to prevent it from totally getting out of hand.
