Hi girls,
AF is about to start and I'm moving on to my 5th month TTC since the m/c. I'm debating what to do for this next month. It's pretty apparent that I need some help. My second son took 6 months and I finally concieved with Preseed.
Took a lot longer than that to get pregnant with the one I miscarried. I used Sylk that cycle. However, as lame as it probably sounds, I'm so scared to use Sylk again. Afraid that it caused a problem with the baby which in turned caused me to m/c. I am tempted to use Preseed again, but I'm afraid to because I still really want a girl.
Do you guys think I should try again with Sylk?
Has anyone else here miscarried after conceiving with Sylk? I know there were at least a few on IG.
Thanks..

Sorry for your loss. Most MCs are caused by a chromosomal thing caused during fertilisation - it's easy to want to look for a cause, I think we all do who have had a MC, but most times it's just one of those things. It's "Bad luck"

i dont think sylk would be the cause, just a coincidence that these people were using it and happened to have a m/c.
i think sylk would be safer than the others available as it is made from kiwi fruit compared to the others that are not so natural, some are even synthetic!
sorry for your loss and goodluck this time around!

I do not believe Sylk could have caused a mc.
I have noticed, as have some others, that there seem to be a higher number of chemicals amongst the pink swayers. Keep in mind that they are doing a lot of things to sway, many of which are a lot more invasive than a little Sylk. Abstinence, sky high doses of cal and mag, lime TBM, not to mention the cranberry and pep tea both of which are known to have links to miscarriage. Plus, I do think the glucose may be playing some part we don't yet understand.Last edited by atomic sagebrush; September 17th, 2011 at 02:56 PM.
