Does anyone else struggle to actually see themselves with a daughter?
Although this is my dream and I have actually always imagined having a girl to recipitate the relationship I have with my mum but I just can't imagine carrying a girl / having a girl as I have two boys and just see myself now as a boy mum?
I don't know if anyone who has a girl after boys can chime In and say whether they felt the same?
I think if I was to hear girl at our 20 week scan I would still feel like it's not real?!
Sorry for rabbiting on just been on my mind xxx

No it's definitely not just you. I feel like if I'm told at our gender scan that this baby is a girl I don't think I will believe it. But at the same time I don't know if I can imagine a third boy. Maybe I just can't imagine having three children period.

You're not alone. My DH and I cannot imagine having a daughter. My DH has always wanted one, but now after having our third boy it's hard for him to imagine ever having a daughter! He said if we went for a 4th he would almost hope for another boy! I've never imagined having a daughter, but I also always thought we would have mixed genders in our family.
Time will tell! So far having 3 kids isn't too bad...I'm only 11 days into it though [emoji23]!

How awful is this but I just found out my SIL is having her second girl !!
I so thought she was going to have a boy and everything would be perfect & shoved it my face how lovely to have one of each bla bla but no!! She has two of the same and I know how much her husband really wanted a boy coz he's really into rugby and he kept going on about it ...
Sorry to ramble on but this is the only place I can !!
Gosh I'm so bitter some times !! Xxx

I would be the same!! ^^^
It drives u insane until the gender scan doesn it!! I really hope you have a girl in there !
Also babygirlrequest I hear a lot of people say that about going from 3-4 isn't too bad - apparently it's worse going from 1-2 the adjustment of actually having another child there xxx

I would LOVE a girl but totally the same! I have a boys name picked already with a big old list of back-ups and no girl names!! I just know I'm carrying another boy!! DH dreamed we had 3 boys which prompted me to test! Xx

I've definitely found it! You definitely mellow out with each kid that arrives, after two it doesn't make a big difference I think! More noise but also lots more fun.
