I conceived my DS using Metformin to induce ovulation. I take 2000mg. I wasn't swaying per se. I did eat a low fat diet because I knew that swayed pink. I've always been a vegetarian but I started eating fish I preparation for pregnancy. I was taking a ton of vitamins at the time. I took prenatals as well as being treated for low D and low b12. Low B12 is common among Veggies. Low D because my pasty self can't get much sun without baking in the Florida sun. We only had one attempt - 5 Days before O. It had to be then though because that was the only attempt and I was charting. It was clear when I O'd. I kept the chart that said my chance of conception that cycle was "low". Ha! I took Met throughout my pregnancy. My RE said it would prevent miscarriage in the first 12 weeks and counteract the tendency that many obese women have of IUGR. My son was early, very very early but he was large for his gestational age.
I find the smaller doses broken up over the course of the day easier to handle. I take two 500 in the morning or afternoon (I don't eat breakfast often) and two in the evening. It takes a long time to see the real benefits (6 months - 1 year). Over time though, you'll find it easier to lose weight and the PCO symptoms slowly subside. After a year, most women don't even have cysts.

That's so good to hear.
I am TTC Pink, but to be honest I wouldn't be heartbroken if we went Blue
Especially now there are so many adorable baby boys clothes in stores
I have to say my cycles are already improved from the Met, and my weight loss is standing at 17lbs. It has plateued now, so I am going to add daily cardio in.

The boy clothes now are SOOO cute! I was in the store the other day (I have a new nephew on the way) and I actually thought the boy stuff was much cuter than the girl stuff. The girl stuff was a little bit racy for my taste. My husband called them "stripper clothes".

mine has large white stars and makes me feel that I'm due at Hogwarts at any moment (and I already HAD a robe! He was like, no, you don't have a robe, and then he was like, "oh yeah".) He also got me a knife sharpener. SMH!!
