Thanks so much ladies. I really just need to get back to thinking positively and I should be since I was able to get pregnant last month! I think part of the problem is I just went back to work after 2 weeks off and I'm feeling fat from my horrible diet those two weeks. Haha. I always get anxious about work.
Tfahn this is our first cycle with IUI and will be third clomid. They increased it to 100 mg. my last dd was conceived through IUI but it took three. Unfortunately the first two were with the RE and a waste of time I think. I had the hsg done with the RE and got pregnant right after. Hoping it works this time although they're not doing the hsg since I had the chemical.

I have O'd anywhere from CD13-20 on my own in the past but I usually only get 24hrs of positive OPKs at the most so this cycle is just confusing with having a 3 straight days of them. Atomic says some women can have 5 days of false positive OPK's after Clomid but the average is usually only 2-3. I wouldn't be mad at an early O.

I hate taking that Mucinex crap, does any other Blue Swayers take it? It has the most horrible smell ever and I swear it makes my urine smell the same when taking it. I have been sporadic with taking it during the last 10 months of trying but with starting Clomid this cycle I planned on taking it for a few days before O and a day after. Is it just me that thinks it stinks or maybe I just have a weird batch of it.

tfahn the positive OPKs prior to CD11 don't count. So you've only had one so far, really.

Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Ksmom I would wait until day af is due before counting yourself out, you never know.
I'm actually a bit confused about when is best to test. Do you count day of positive opk as first day (that is, the following day is 1dpo) or do you wait 24-48 hours and count that as day 1, when you think you have ovulated? I thought it was pretty much impossible to pinpoint the exact moment of ovulation? We have always had our attempt on day of smiley face, how reliable do you think the digital tests are? I'm wondering if timing is good for us. I feel so ignorant.
I'm doing very bad with the diet, the last few weeks over the festive period have been hard! I kind of gave up on following LE apart from still skipping breakfast and eating slightly less than I normally would. Feeling bad about this. I have been wearing a rose quartz necklace the last few months and this week it has fallen off twice, I almost oust it today - not sure what to make of this! Turns out I'm more superstitious than I thought!!3 beautiful boys, longing for a sister for them to complete our family
One HT attempt in U.S. April 2015, all abnormals.
Now preparing to sway.

I took clomid last month and had false positives after last pill. So waited 3 days and my tests were not as positive then started to get darker again. I ovulated day 18

Ttc I always count the day after a positive opk as 1dpo. Although after temping I realized that sometimes it's two days after.
I cheated all the time, especially around Christmas on my own le diet and have two girls. I was generally an le person but always had cheat days or weeks sometimes!

Sorry to hear about your struggles on the diet. I'm Jewish so the holiday season doesn't affect me. I'm also a hermit due to my pain. I wouldn't stress about the necklace falling offf....but thrn I am superstitious about some things. For example I Oed on Jan 2nd, my mom's bday, and my mom was a psychotic narcissist. I worry that could affect a potential baby.
Re: OPKs etc, if you have been charting thoroughly for a while (temping, noting CM, CP and OPKing), you can often pinpoint the day of O reasonably accurately. Just OPKs alone don't tell you that much, but most women with regular cycles will O the day after the first positive OPK. Oing 2 days later is next most common, then less likely but still possible are Oing on the day of the first positive or 3+ days after it. So I'd assume in your case that 2 days after your first positive is 1DPO.

It varies. For the past 3.5 years or so, I've been breastfeeding most of that time so my LP was anywhere from 9-15 days. DS2 just weaned last month so who knows. In the past year it seems like my LP has been around 13-15 days. Before having kids, it was always 16 days.
