Tomed intercourse before IUI

That should say timed intercourse! I'm having an IUI Saturday and getting the trigger shot tomorrow. I also had an IUI with my last dd. That time dh and I bd roughly 36 and 24 hours before the IUI. I was considering doing that again but was worried since we are both 2.5 years older now. His sperm was fine the last time we did that pattern. Any suggestions? Is one time enough and if so which time should we choose? Thanks!

NO, I'd have you in with at least 2 attempts plus the IUI if you can. Many, many times when people do IUI plus TI, it's the TI that gets it done anyway so I'd hate to see you sell your TI attempts short in favor of the IUI attempt.

2.5 years older shouldn't matter, I think you guys are still probably fine to do exactly what you did before. FX and blue dust!

Thanks, I didn't see this yesterday! We went ahead with dtd 36 and 24 hours before the IUI and dh's sample was 22 million with everything else good! This is much more than he ever did with dd 2. Then it was 7-9 million each time. Hopefully my egg was a good one since that's it problem. Thanks for the blue dust!
