When I conceived ds2 I only dtd once on ovulation day we didn't have any other attempts. This time I am doing E4D still with only 1 attempt in my fertile widow I still feel that 1 attempt is best.

Maiden - sorry to hear about you being so itchy. That is such a horrible feeling. My dd3 has allergies & she sometimes has flare ups with her skin & it can be hard to stop her scratching. Her skin is actually the best it's been lately.
Pbn - hope you are going ok. X

Maidentomother to mother, cramping sounds intense and therefore positive? When are you going to test? I am toying with idea of testing tomorrow, period is due Wednesday, I work on a Wednesday so would not get a chance, I could nip into town tomorrow after I drop children at school and buy a test. Sometimes I feel like my period is about to start and other times it feels the complete opposite.
My goodness you ladies are so knowledgeable about ttc, with my previous three pregnancies I just had sex a few times, vaguely in my fertile window and thought nothing more about it.
Sometimes my cycles vary in length, I have only been monitoring them over the past few months, some cycles I have gone 36 days between periods. Am in right in thinking that lp phase stills largely the same length but just when you ovulated can change, so for those really long cycle s I may have ovulated much later than day 14 but still had 10 - 11 lp stage.
Keeping everything crossed for you maidentomother and everyone else chasing the bfp! X o

Purple, I've thought about that too. I feel pretty good about doing E4D but I am a little worried it might end up being an O-3 and an O+1 attempt which aren't great odds. :/ Idk, I'll probably end up playing it by ear.

Ksmom, I doubt the cramping is pregnancy related. I've been pregnant 6 times and never had any cramping at all with them. I am pissed AF hasn't come yet, I guess my LP will be extended blahhhh. Unfortunately, no creams help itching for me at all, never have. Whenever I get allergic reactions (I have super sensitive skin), I have to go on weeks of high dose corticosteroids to prevent scratching myself to the point of scarring.
Pbn3, I'm so sorry you're familiar with the horror of extreme itchiness. The only thing worse IMO is being nauseated. I have fantasized about steel brushes...I've had similar responses to water that is highly chlorinated so I think maybe that's what bothers you too? I also can't stand the feeling of salt wayer drying on me. Anyway it's sooo hard not to scratch constantly. What's worse is my pain meds (opiates) cause itching too! My rosacea on my face has flared up, so I have spots on my face, my face is puffy, and hot/itchy. I'm really hoping the AH withdrawal is temporary and will settle down eventually.
Hurry up AF!
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Thanks farmgitl.
Girlie, I might test tomorrow if my temps stay up/increase and if I still have no spotting. The longest my natural LP has ever been is 11 days (I'm 11DPO today), though I did have a cycle where AF didn't start until early evening 11DPO (usually I wake up with AF having started early in the am). My breasts are less tender today and my nipples that were sore yesterday are normal today, so not really optimistic. The cramping is a bad sign for me, see my post above.
You are correct, your O day can move around quite a lot but generally LP length is fairly consistent. My cycles have ranged from 21 to 35 days, excluding the effects meds/illness. They average 28-29 days.
I hope you see a nice dark BFP when/if you test!

Maidentomother I really hope for you it is a positive, am not going to test today as I feel af is going to arrive tonight or tomorrow morning, feeling very like I usually do before af, like you I just wish it would hurry up, this dragging on is it isn't it, drives me nuts! I feel if I went and got a test it would only be clutching at straws, better to wait until tomorrow and let af come! Am just amazed at how gutted I feel, I cannot even sit and eat chocolate or cakes because of the diet! Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh! X o

Ksmom I think our next cycle will be our final so yes I will do every 4 days plus one in fertile window (but only if e4d does not fall in fertile window, which I think it will). I just want to get pregnant now, draw a line, move on, deal with whatever happens. So I need to know I have tried absolutely everything I could have to conceive, whether it's blue friendly or not. Another negative this morning at 12dpo, but af not due until the weekend so outside possibility could still get a positive, but I doubt it as have no symptoms. It just happened so easily with the boys, I'm a bit worried something has happened to my fertility since then.
So sorry to hear your discomfort maiden, it sounds awful! You hav not had an easy time! Def try another test, fx3 beautiful boys, longing for a sister for them to complete our family
One HT attempt in U.S. April 2015, all abnormals.
Now preparing to sway.

Girlie, I feel like AF is imminent too. Cramping mildly and almost watery CM.
A filling just fell out (last molar, bottom left, against my wisdom tooth) and I swallowed it accidentally. Is it okay to brush my tooth hole/nearby or should I just use mouthwash? I don't even have a dentist here, sigh.
